I just finished my first read through of The ph Miracle for Weight Loss by Dr. Young. The general concept sounds interesting with a decent bit of science behind it (though most of that seems to be from Dr. Young's own research). I'm considering following this plan, but have a few concerns. So, I thought I'd ask for feedback from you knowing that you're an educated and health-minded crowd.
Have you tried it? Do you live it? What works, what doesn't? I'm interested in any comments, stories, etc etc you might have about this way of eating.
About a year and half ago a followed the Acid/Alkaline Diet by naturopath Christopher Vasey, and had good results. So, eating more alkaline foods isn't new to me. Dr. Young's book, however, seems to be quite different- much more of a vegan diet. I'm not sure how well I'd be able to adapt to that...and now "necessary" it might be. I may be willing to give it a try....
