Petition

Thank you Lorie! I know the first thing I'll be doing when I get home from work tonight.

I'm a little embarrassed. I wrote on the petition that he should have been immediately suspended, and THEN I read the story and saw that he has denied the allegations. I just want to say that obviously the guy is entitled to due process of law.

If the allegations are true, however, he should be locked up for a very long time.

> Also, he should be SUSPENDED until he is
>tried (being that these charges are very serious) and then
>KICKED OUT when he is proven guilty.

I agree.

And don't forget to contact Nike--which is the only company that hasn't severed ties with him so far--and encourage them to not only suspend production of a new shoe with his name on, but suspend sales of other merchandise associated with him (the HSUS has a petition to that effect as well). Last I heard, Nike is still selling a "hero" T-shirt with his name/likeness? on, in boys' sizes.

I signed the petiton w/a caveat--forget suspension, fire him! I don't understand all this talk about suspension. If someone here did something like this they'd be fired, & you all know how tough it is for us to fire someone! Tell me everyone, isn't this true where you work?

I think Vick should get the boot. No suspension, do not pass go, do not collect 200 million dollars. He should never be allowed to work for the NFL again in any capacity. Fine, let the justice system follow its due course. Then can his a$$ & make him the nobody he deserves to be.
