Is it only Tuesday!?? BLECH... It should be at least Thursday!

Yesterday was the SJP hi/lo and wt circuit.

Today is that 20 minute run and CM#3.

I believe I'll add some minutes to my run today. I am feeling well recovered from the burn out I was feeling coming into this rotation. I have added on some to the rotation already but I am definitely going to add more on as time permits.

Have a wonderful Tuesday everybody. I don't know why I am complaining about time going slow because I still have a lot to do before Christmas. I am going to do all of my baking this weekend. I was going to do my haystacks last night since they are easy but am still feeling like a binge is coming on so I refrained. Hopefully I'll be past that by the weekend.

Jane, yesterday WAS a binge for me! Chocolate was available and I ate more chocolate yesterday than I've had in a long time! First I had mini hershey mint bars (bite sized, but I ate 4), then DH was munching on trailmix filled with chocolate chips and m&m's and I am NOT telling you how much of THAT I ate! Topped it all off with a cocoa with marshmallows!!!!!!!!!
Some needs to slap me!:eek:

I hear you Becky... I have fought the urge to binge for about three or four days now. It should be passing soon. I am struggling with the last four pounds to get off from the vacation in November. I have about a 1/4 inch to go on my hips and 1/2 inch on my thighs. These four pounds and inches are being very stubborn. I am still zigzagging my calories and I feel this will come off but it is really poor timing with the holidays coming up. I am going to try though.

I'm sure you look fantastic but ofcourse I know better than anyone that it doesn't matter what anyone else says if YOU are not satisfied/happy with yourself, right? Don't ya hate that!? lol

I haven't been tracking my food or zigzagging in weeks. I got tired of having to put everything in fitday etc. I am still trying to eat well and haven't caused any damage....in fact I actually lost a few pounds and some body fat!!! I think I just needed a break from it. After the holidays I'll try to get back into it. I am down to the last 5-10 pounds that I'd like to lose and they are always the hardest so I'll probably NEED to zigzag & pay attention to my f/c/p ratios to get the last pounds off.

Anywho...best of luck getting to your goal! When's your vacation and where are you going? :)
 
Hey Wendy... yes I know those last pounds so hard to come off!!! I went on vacation in November to Oklahoma City for a week for the quarter horse world show and I ate myself silly. I couldn't even get into my pants by the end of the week. It was so stupid and I've really paid for it. I am not so wanting the pounds off as I do the inches. I know the pounds can fluctuate from day to day but I need those last 1/2 and 1/4 inches off so my clothes will fit comfortably.

Thanks for the encouragement. You'll reach your goal also, we just have to keep plugging!
 
AAAAAHHHHH, okay Jane...now I gotcha! I thought you were going on vacation soon and wanted to look your best for it but I see you are doing damage control from the one you already took! ;)

Think of it this way...you had already lost inches/weight/body fat BEFORE you went on vacation so you are still ahead of the game no matter what!!!:)

I know what you mean Phyllis. I am just trying to maintain until January 1 and then I will buckle down and get serious with my eating again. I initially "took a break" from the strict eating plan I was on just because I was burning out but it works out well considering I could never do it properly with all of the holiday hub-bub coming around!;)
 
Everyone hang in there! We are all slipping a bit, but we just need to keep to our workouts and we will get through these temptations just fine!

Today was 20 minute run ( 40 minutes hi/lo Christi CC ) and Coremax 3.

Good morning ladies, great posts today!

I know what you mean Wendy, tracking your calories by journaling whether it's done electronicly or the old fashion way always promotes weight loss for me but after awhile, it gets too tedious. Sometimes, you just have to break away from it and just "eyeball" your portions--it's so much easier.

Hang in there Phyllis, just take a break and get right back on the "exercise horse":).

Anyway, my workout today was Circuit Max (which went on and on---I was so not in the mood for any hi/lo today--but I'm glad I finished it) and a 30 minute jog on my treadmill.

I just finished 3 miles on the treadmill. Just wasn't a "running" day for me, probably because of all the junk food I ate yesterday. I think I'll walk or ride my stationary bike this evening, for a double shot of cardio!

Connie, enjoy your lunch. We have a new PF Changs here, but have never tried it. I'm not sure I understand the cuisine. Is it like any other chinese resteraunt......or is there a twist?

Off to the shower!!! I'm getting a sloooooow start to my day!
 
Hi good morning everyone, yesterday I did Shape it Up of the Slim Series, Burn it Up of Slim in 6 and stationary bike. Today I will do cardio. My right wrist is bothering me. :-( :-( I can't train with weights until my wrist will be recovered.

Hi everyone,

I woke up with a horrible sinus headache this morning so I didn't work out. Now that I'm feeling a little better I can workout at the rec ctr during lunch. I definitely need to keep up with the exercise since there is so much junk at the office that I can't seem to keep out of.

Hi Becky,

PF Changs is a more eclectic type of Chinese restaurant. All the dishes are so fresh, and it is a very modern atmosphere. We had all kinds of great dishes and shared them all. Wonderful and fun. Pricewise very reasonable, and you can really tell the difference between this food and traditional take out Chinese. Major thumbs up!!
 
Woohoo!! Just finished a 50 minute run with an additional 10 min w/u, c/d to round out the hour. I thought it was going to be in the 30's this afternoon but I lucked out, it was 42. :p

Gone to feed the horses, then myself before CM#3. I need food!!
 
Here's what I did today:

A.M. work out: Super Sets 30 min upper body premix

P.M. work out: Kick Max cardio 30 minutes, Kick Max leg conditioning drills, PLB stability ball work (except for outer thighs)....YOWZA! That was a freakin' EVIL combo!!!}( }( }(
