Good morning Phyllis...

I am getting a late start this morning working because the system at the hospital is down. Hope to get started by 7.

I have a baking sheeet of those waffle pretzel/kisses/M&M things in the oven.

Yesterday was PowerMax for the first time. I LOVED it. It was so much fun. No wonder there is so much talk about that one. I burned quite a few calories too, 471 for one hour.

The abs from PS back, biceps, and abs are also on that DVD, so I went right into those.

Today is cardio with chest work. Since I don't have the CTX DVD, I am doing the TimeSaver from Body Blast #1. It is warm up and step from SJP (shortened version), then chest/triceps from SJP with bonus footage with a stretch.

How long is the chest work on CTX upper body? I want to make sure I get in enough time on the chest work. If the one I'm doing is too sure, I'll do it twice or use chest from another DVD to supplement.

Jane, each body part worked in ctx lasts about 10 minutes.

It's cardio, legs and upper body for me today!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think the chest work and all the muscle work is only about 10-15 min. each on CTX.
I think today I am doing Allstep and chest. Maybe will add xtra cardio if I have the time. Yesterday was a bad eating day.:(

Today is more baking ( sugar cookies and more oreo balls) and then I THINK I really WILL stop !!???!~ We'll see.....but that's the plan.;-)

Chin up Becky... remember, we are in semi-clean mode for the holidays!!! No beating yourself up allowed until after January 1st!!! You know Cathe is going to have a real calorie burner for us in January!!!
 
Hi!

Ok today is lower body and cardio or long lower body to give that foot more rest. I'll see when I go to the WO area. I'm toying with no cardio this week, but 6 days of various hi-rep low-weight legs. I figure one week of no cardio will be OK and my help me get that foot rested like I've been supposed to be doing since July. (sigh)

Yesterday's Muscle Max left me with some DOMS this morning in various places.

Eating was better but not perfect yesterday. But that is acceptable! And I didn't eat at all after dinner.

Okay I am back......Allstep and Chest is completed.

Jane here is a breakdown of the chest work. It is a total of 10 min. workout.
3 sets of benchpress #30 barbell
1 set of flys
1 set bench press both with #10 dumbbells
pushups
4 staggered , 12 full - 2 sets

AS & chest was 40 min. total

Chiming in to say I did CTX Step and Intervals and chest, ab hits and stretchmax 2.

Powercircuit tomorrow.

I emailed SNM about my goofy Allstep tape and Nancy emailed me back in the afternoon to tell me they sent out another one. How nice! I am so appreciative of the class act they are over there!

Phyllis - enjoy the luncheon, just use your head so you don't beat up on yourself later. I have a feeling we are all going to be feeling the wraith of Cathe on her next rotation to whip us all back into shape!

I just finished my workout. We are still down at work. Thanks for the breakdown.

I forgot how brutal the bonus footage on the timesaver was for chest. Those pushups are something I am going to have to work up to over a long period of time. She does slow six-count down/two-count up pushups, then reverses, two-count down, six-count up, then single with one-arm rows. I was dying and went down to my knees fast on those. The w/o had the chest/tris from SJP and bonus footage for both chest and tris, so it was definitely at least 10 minutes long, the workout ran about 38 minutes.

Becky, so Allstep on the CTX DVD has chest on it? I have Allstep on VHS that is has a shoulder segment on it with the abs.

I'm glad I'm done!!

It sounds like you had a good workout!! And now you're done for the day!

Allstep on DVD has shoulders too ....but I just picked chest off the upperbody split. That is a workout that has each upper body part worked 10 minutes each ,(chest, back, bi's, tri's,shoulders) so you can pick which and do just that, or do any combination or the whole thing.

You really do need to add CTX dvd to your wish list. I am so glad I finally got it, I really like it, because it can be used in so many way!!

I hope the phone line gets up & running soon so you can get your work day in!

I want to get the CTX DVD. Maybe with the next presale, I'll pick it up to take advantage of the free shipping.

My upper body is still trembling. I went to complete muscle failure on those pushups, I couldn't even get myself up on the last set. Those slow ones get me every time.
 
Well, it's 12:45 and I haven't worked yet. I'm getting paid though since it is the system at the hospital that is down so that's good.

Becky, I got the pineapple coconut balls made and as I remembered after you mentioned it, I did have to put the mixture in the freezer before I started rolling and then had to put it back in the freezer about halfway through when it got too soft again. You can manage it nicely like that. Sorry I didn't remember that when I gave you the recipe.

I made two batches of the pretzel/kisses/M&M things. I think I'll call them M&M pillows since they do look like little pillows.

I am doing my prep work for my supper now. If and when they call from work, I plan on working until 5 only just to get the stat stuff caught up and that's it.

Hi everyone,

I guess this is my not following a rotation time. I am covering for a coworker who is on vacation. I didn't workout Friday (field trip with 4th grade son), or Saturday, (Christmas shopping etc). Sunday I did manage to do Bodymax and Monday I did Imax 3. Nothing today though. Reading all your posts is motivating me to work out tonight.

You are all doing such a great job. Keep up the good work.

Did you taste the M & M pillows yet? What do you think?

No Becky I didn't take the M&M pillows! Can you believe it? I think I am going to start the oreo balls now. It is 3:00 and they haven't called, whatever happened up there must be bad with the computer system. I got the day off but had to stay by the phone in case they call, hence why they pay us.

I'll have to save enough calories tomorrow to try either one of the oreo balls or the pillows.
