Hi Deb, Josie, Joan, Cathy, and Valerie--
This morning I did Ellen Barrett's Barefoot Cardio (48 min.).
I did get my one long stitch taken out (weird--one long black strand tugged out!) and the orthopedist does not think I need pt because he measured the angles on my moves (extension of arm with palm up) and hammercurl (trying to touch my shoulder with thumb), and they are so close to normal that he just encouraged me to do them gently every day--unless I want pt. He thinks I can start doing weights in a month, but he will see me on the 13th of September for the go-ahead. Knitting is fine, Deb. I think I will try to do some lower body work like p-57 and bbl.
Deb, I bet your two K's were happy to see you back from your CA trip. I've never been to Charleston, but I loved Savannah. We spent a final day there in that really wonderful graveyard described in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil--absolutely fascinating statues and lots of famous people buried there.
I plan to go to the Clark Art Museum this weekend to see the Degas-Picasso exhibition, but don't think I will rush to see Eat, Pray, Love. A.O. Scott gave it a lukewarm review for the NYTimes. I have two from Netflix: Bright Star about Keats and Fanny Brawne and The Damned United. I am tempted, though, to see the Other Guys. Looks good for a few laughs.
Have a great weekend everyone!
