Good morning,

Beautiful day here today, only 50 degrees right now but sunny and no humidity. Love it!

Weird night last night, DH got really dizzy all of a sudden, then proceeded to "lose it" from all parts. ( TMI I know). Anyway, we are not sure what happened, he ate the same thing I did at dinner, which was a pork chop, nothing else, he had a beer, bottled so it should have been ok. I was pretty close to taking him to the ER. Strange. Now he is fine.

Yes, Epoxy grout is supposed to resist mildew, but mine is not white any longer, it has sort of yellowed. I have a cleaner called Granite Gold that I bought for my kitchen tile floor. I looked up what a neutral PH value is and it is 7. Then I went to the Granite Gold site and they have the MSDS sheets for all their products, and the ph of this is 7-8. So I am going to start using this on the bathroom floor too. Not sure why I didn't before.

Valerie, whatever you get, make sure you find out right away what cleaner to use, don't wait a year like I did. ( duh!).

Joan, do you mean that you did not have to have your gall bladder out? I would be anxious to have that other test for sure. I would think that they would have diagnosed Crohns disease prior to the gall bladder, did you have symptoms of Crohns before the surgery?

Hi to Josie, & Cathy,
Hey IT'S FRIDAY!

whoopee... Friday ...and our weather is supposed to change today for the better. I have a big gardening day planned, did all my shopping yesterday.

I did a bike warm up and 2 miles on the treadmill later yesterday. It's feeling good. not sure today, either start meso 3 or just do cardio and wait for next week.

Joan that's good you found out before getting into deeper trouble. I always thought Crohn's was pretty symptomatic but it doesn't sound like you were bothered so maybe it's a mild version.

Deb, did DH pass out, go unconscious? fall down or have to lie down? Do you know how to take his pulse? does not sound like food poisoning. If there is no obvious explanation for this occurrence, he should be checked out by his doctor. routine blood tests, EKG etc.

One of the things about doing these house projects by yourself is you buy all the supplies and usually know a lot more than if someone else does the work. It probably says on the epoxy grout packaging how to clean it.

Hi Deb, Josie, Joan, Cathy, and Valerie--

This morning I did Fat Burning Fusion (46 min.).

Deb, we have the same weather here, which I hope continues all weekend because it's graduation. Ken Burns is the Commencement speaker. Should be interesting. Farewell to English majors reception later this afternoon. Gee, sorry about your scare with DH! I hope it was just a 24 hour bug.

Joan, what do the doctors say you should do now with Crohn's disease? Special diet? Medications?

Happy gardening, Valerie!

Hi to Josie and Cathy!

Good afternoon,

Deb Yes I did need to have gallbladder out. It was only 9% functioning. There was only 1 stone but doctor said it was about 2 inches. Because he had felt something in exam he looked during surgery and could tell bowel was inflamed.

I have another test and then they will go over what I need to do. Since there is no cure and they only try to manage symptoms through diet and pills, I don't plan to do anything. I have no symptoms. Why couldn't I at least have the symptom where you lose weight for no reason.:p

Deb I hope dh does go to doctor that does sound strange.

Joan

Hi all,

This weekend did not start out well, I got a call from one of the staff at DH's office yesterday right after lunch. He had another dizzy episode, puking etc and he wanted me to pick him up. Not like him at all. So I left work and went to get him, called the Dr and took him over there before we went home. He saw the NP and she said she thinks its an inner ear virus. Of course there is nothing you can do with it, except she prescribed some anti-histamine that is supposed to open up the ear canal or something like that. Anyway, he tried taking the pills last night and lost it again, he could not even stand up. We were up until almost midnight, with him on the bathroom floor. Once he got to bed he slept and is still sleeping. I am not sure what to do. It being Saturday and all, the Dr office is closed. The funny thing is how it comes on him all of a sudden, no warning, just dizzy, no balance, then it hits his stomach and...ugh. He cannot even keep water down.

Will check back later to see what everyone is up to...

Hi Deb--

Wow--I'm sure this has you worried. Maybe you should go to the emergency room if it happens again and have him see a doctor. I have heard of inner ear problems that create vertigo, but didn't know it was a virus. Does he feel like his ears need to pop--like on an airplane? Not sure how an antihistamine works on something like this, but I don't know.

Beautiful here today. DH is haying, I'm just finished cleaning house and thinking about doing more annual planting and putting together a hanging basket. Feeling very lazy at the moment.

Hope this virus quickly resolves itself.

So far so good as far as DH goes. He has been taking the medication that is supposed to ward off the dizziness. He also had some soup and a little bread and has not had an episode since so maybe it has passed.

Got my nails and hair done this afternoon, it is raining and we had a thunderstorm around noon, a good day to curl up with a book under a throw. I think I will do that now.

Deb, I sent you a private message regarding DH yesterday. I hope you got it. what did the NP do to check him out? I never used the PM system on this website.

I know I had my dizzy pills and they really did work. They explained that the liquid in your inner ear got old and you get floaters like you do in your eyes. If those floaters get in the wrong spot you get dizzy.
