the weather suddenly turned lovely and springlike... 60 and sunny. yesterday and today will be terrific. I did major yard work yesterday but DH was working so I did smaller things, like weeding. it's been so cold and wet that things are way behind normal. things that normally bloom in march aren't blooming yet. whatever... it was so nice I forgave mother nature for the gloomy season so far.
Did disk 17 later, legs. the meso 2 leg disks are fast compared to the upper body ones. not easy but fast... think I got it done in less than an hour, and don't feel sore today. another reminder I need to do cathe leg something once a week.
My FIL has taken an abrupt turn for the worse, much worse. He will be passing soon unless he suddenly rallies and improves. He's at home with hospice overseeing, so no IV's or tube feeding etc.
We had a 5 day vacation next week and I don't know what to do with it now. Plan as if we will be taking it? Plan as if we are going to a funeral? We were just in california to visit 2 weeks ago... turns out to be very good timing on our part. will be going back soon. we were going to go to eastern washington for some cycling, birding, light hiking and now I'm not sure we can do that.

Valerie I don't know what to tell you about traveling. We stopped putting our life on hold because mil has been about to die for the last few years. It sounds like your case is different.
We didn't blow away and if the airport opens back up tomorrow we will be going to Las Vegas.
