Hi Deb, Josie, Valerie, Lori, and Judy--
This morning I did Ba, rear delts on shoulders, and bis (52:28). I went lighter on my left hand so I wouldn't re-irritate my wrist. It feels pretty good.
It took me forever today to get my tires changed back to all-weather from the heavy duty ones we put on for all of this snow.
Deb, that quilt is lovely. It must feel good to get back to a craft you enjoy. Ouch on the finger! I will put Suits on my watch list. It's a fairly recent series, isn't it?
I am going to a lecture and reception at the college for Eve Ensler next week. She wrote "The Vagina Monologues," but her lecture is on "Ending Violence Against Women." I have seen enough bruises and black eyes from volunteer work and hope she has some good advice on this. I wish I could do more than provide rides and trying to be supportive, but I am not a counselor, and I don't really understand fully the emotional dynamics in these relationships. I did think the novel Big Little Lies opened my eyes as to why women sometimes stay in these relationships.
Wow, Lori, that Shakeology stuff better taste good if it's that expensive.
Valerie, I always wondered what to do with those Jerusalem artichokes, aka sunchokes. The ones I had were definitely sautéed and I'm pretty sure you would have enjoyed the spicy aioli sauce they were served with. Lots of kick for the palate. Apparently they are tubers related to the yam. Hope your trip is enjoyable.
Josie, that volunteer work sounds perfect for you.
