Good morning,

I slept in today, got up at 6:09. John got up at 5:00 with the dogs, and I decided to try to get a few more "winks". Agility class was cancelled yesterday, I drove all the way over there, no cars in the parking lot, so I looked at the schedule I have in my bag, and yep, cancelled. I felt pretty stupid. Poor Keegan, he's all excited to get out of the car and go in, and I turn around and leave.

I spent a good amount of time on line planning a trip to NYC in April. John suggested it....going for my birthday. There is a play there that we saw locally that is really good so we will go for a long weekend.

Lori, it sounds like you have finally turned the corner with that cold. That trip with your Mom and brother will always be a wonderful memory for you. That is great.

Diane Sue, the weather there is even more crazy than it is here! I can't imagine being in the 80's and then freezing. "Boxing and Leg Blasts sounds like a doable cardio for me....were the leg blasts high impact? The foam rolling seems to have helped....I have not seen it done, or know much about it. I think Judy does it for her back or hip...Yes, the bars are expensive, so far the one on Amazon is the cheapest I could find, even in local fitness stores. I am sure your daughters will always remember the time they spent with their grandmother...good memories.

Hi to Josie, Judy, Lynda, and Valerie!

Starting another week of Live workouts, I am enjoying these a lot. Then Keegan needs grooming...his hair grows like weeds....

Take care,

Good morning ladies!

I did well with the workout yesterday. The workout itself was a great one but next time I'll use heavier weights. I matched Cathe on all but felt I could go heavier next time. I did not do any of the core/matt workout. Without the core the workout was about 40 minutes. I am still congested and coughing so do not want to be huffing and puffing.

Deb...that stinks driving all that way! I have done this before not knowing something was cancelled. Poor Keegan :(. A couple days ago you asked about Chalene and yes I had read BB is phasing out Chalene for younger instructors. I guess because Tony Horton is a guy they are keeping him. Not sure how true it is but it is making sense when you see all the newer workouts. I find this kind of sad. NYC is so much fun!!!

Diane Sue...what a great workout combination. Sounds right up my alley. I am looking forward to doing the complete Bun Burner workout. Love there are no weights in this to mix things up a bit. I have heard foam rolling is great! I purchased one a couple years ago but really have not been consistent at all. ALS is a very nasty disease. I am sorry to hear you mom died of this. My cousin died 2 years ago from it. Very sad

Last night we did movie night. We set up our large screen, projector and bose speakers and watched a couple of movies. My DS is over so we made popcorn, made a fire and watched movies all night. The projector we have is a LG and we love it. It is the size of a small book and it projects HD quality. It was like being at the movies it is that good. About 100 inch screen is what we set it for. We usually do this outside in the summer months but figured hey let's try it inside! Very fun evening. Going to try it again next week since it is easter and we have a few people staying the weekend.

Have a great Sunday all!!!

Hi everyone--

This morning I did Total Body Tone Up Live (55 min.). Another great workout.

Deb, that must have been frustrating for both you and Keegan. I hope you have great weather for your weekend in NYC. We were so lucky about our trip to Boston--just gorgeous weather and the harbor walk was beautiful. Our hotel was down there--the Envoi. Very new and very modern.

Lori, that sounds like a fun evening. What movies did you watch? If you kiss the blarney stone, does it bring good luck or just make you 'full of blarney'?

Diane Sue, the foam roller must be working well for you--very therapeutic. ALS is a terrible disease. A colleague of mine decided to take his life rather than going through that long process of deterioration. Very sad.

Doesn't sound like we are going to get hit with much snow from this Nor'easter. Good!! I looked at some photos from last year about this time, and we had a ton of snow. This has been a relatively pleasant winter.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone!

Today was a family day and rest day. I am doing good today. Yesterday whenever I felt tightness I went upstairs and did some foam rolling and stretching. I am going to do it some tonight before I go to bed and skip the muscle relaxer and stuff.
Here is a run down of the leg blast portion of Boxing and Leg Blasts:
This starts 32 minutes into the workout dumbbells are used for all of the strength portions 12 and 15 lb.
snow boarding blast/ 16reps dumbbell squats repeat
lateral hops side to side 3 times and tuck jump/plie squat with upright row repeat but no upright row but it has pulses
forward back hop hop/static lunges repeat
lateral skates/side to side lunges 2 dumbbells repeat second time 1 dumbbell side to side lunge with overhead press
jacks, grapevine, split jump add arm circles, grapevine/15# dumbbell crossback lunge 15 and 1, repeat but 7 and 1 crossback
No cardio just deadlifts

Thanks ladies re my Mother. She was about my age. My Dad survived his second wife of 20 years. I only lost him a little over a year ago. ALS is a dreadful disease. You never realize how awful till you watch someone go through it.

Deb, your trip to New York sounds like fun. We sometimes drive to Dallas and stay at the at the Galleria hotel so we can go through the mall and backstairs and just wander around the city. It's not a long trip but was always a nice way just to spend with each other and relax. Yes as you can see above there is some impact in the blasts. Poor Keegan. That is too bad that you didn't catch that it was canceled. At least Keegan got to enjoy the ride :)
I have the long foam roller that I have used with some dvds and recently purchased a rumble roller look shorter foam roller when I did Tai Cheng for awhile. Right now that one hurts! I sat here last night watching therapy videos on you tube for the neck and shoulder/upper back area. A lot of problems is caused from posture and people that are hanging over a computer or desk a lot. I watched a chiropractor do some manipulation and it really made me cringe when he did the guys neck. I have never been to one. I have 2 different 1/2 inch yoga mats in my Amazon wish list. Those are not real low cost either.

Lori, I am glad things went well for you on the workout. I can still feel the Bun Burner Workout this morning :D For some reason I thought that Tony Horton might be part owner of the company or maybe he is just good friends of the owner/owners? He has been with them for years. I had the Tony and the Kids workout and it was sort of comical watching him. I have used my foam roller for years. I was just thinking last night that I need to get out the recovery dvd that comes with P90X2. It has a good mix of flexibility, yoga, and foam rolling. My son has a movie set up like that. They usually do it in their garage for family days. They did a Dr Who birthday party for my granddaughter and ran Dr Who movies. My husband had got a stand up Dr Who phone booth and we took pictures of all of the young people in the phone booth. Lots of fun. We had a large room with arcade games and a Kareoke machine with the large tv. The grandchildren loved to come and visit. It got crazy with the Kareoke. Gertie was excited and would bark when the Karoke came on. I have video of her when we were playing Christmas songs. It was like she was singing.

Lynda, I am really enjoying the live workouts. I have had my eye on a lower body tone up I saw on the list. We have had a few times here in Oklahoma where it snowed a heavy snow in March. This does not happen very often though and I am happy with it. Tonight the low is 32 so I went ahead and uncovered my plants. I don't think I will be sorry. I did think I was done getting out my coat to go out. I put them all upstairs.

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Live Lean Lower Body....wow, that one really gets you good. No impact, no blasts, just standard lower body weight exercises, and she also throws in the firewalker band and the disk. I am feeling it today.

Lori, I may do that workout ( the newest metabolic right?) on Thursday, my "total body" day. I will skip the mat work if possible. I think that stinks about Chalene....she can't be that old and she is still in great shape right? If she brings in business, not sure what their issue is. I still can't see a one dance Line Dancing DVD making it....wouldn't it be boring after a few times doing it? My Mom's friend's husband got ALS, was in a nursing home for years...it was awful. What do you project on for that large of a movie screen? You must have a huge blank wall?

Lynda, yes, am hoping that the weather is good in mid-April....not too long from now so you never know. That is so sad about your colleague, but fully understandable.

Diane Sue, So sorry about your Mom, and so young too. It looks like you found the answer to that pain...the foam roller seems to be working the best, with stretches of course. LOL about Gertie singing Christmas songs. I also have been considering putting away all the winter coats and boots, but no....not here, not in March! :).

Hi to Judy, Josie & Valerie,

A workout, and paper filing today....I hate all the paper that accumulates...ugh...late class tonight,

Take care,

Hi everyone--

This morning I did Live Low Impact Hiit Circuit (53 min.). This one is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

Diane Sue, thanks for the rundown on those blasts. Too much impact for me I suspect. In New England you just never know if/when spring is REALLY here. The college is on spring break right now and I had a theory that everything would get nice and warm by the second week of break, and then KABOOM! the students come back and we get a snowstorm. It happened several years like that--lulled into a false sense of security and then smackdown.

Deb, I am enjoying Bosch a lot. Excellent series. I'm sure they will do another season.

Hope everyone is enjoying what is supposed to be the first week of spring.

Hi all just checking in between stops. Stayed wth niece and DH in sacramento area. Went on a tough snowshoe at 7000 feet sat and mt biking Sunday. 51/2 hrs on snowshoe, 3 hrs on ride. We wore them out! They have a very nice home, very scenic and she fed us well. Good thing we got some exercise.
Going to Fresno now but briefly and will head somewhere else tomorrow. Toward home, but with a stop or two on the way.

ALS is an awful terrible disease. So sorry your mother had it. Something you would not wish on anyone.

Today did Cathe Live Totally Toned Legs 56 minutes, 294 calories. I followed this wit live For the Love of Cardio, 44 minutes, 367 calories avg HR 136/ max 162. I was only going to do part of the cardio but was enjoying the variety of cardio so I just kept going :) Total workout time was 1 hr 40 minutes and calories burned 664. For the Love of Cardio had w/u, kickboxing moves like kicks, speed bags, boxing moves and jacks, then it goes on to 80's style cardio, jacks, skipping, jog in place, high knee runs etc., then it moves to cardio legs at 24 minutes and a slower tempo, at 35 minutes it is the last section using the mat with some moves like she uses in RWH low impact and some wide burpee tucks, popsquats, at 40 minutes it is cooldown and stretch. Some work in the kitchen today. Last night I cleared everything off the counters and need to cover a couple of appliances. My husband is planning on tearing down the recessed ceiling lighting today. We are installing new lighting and he may be able to make the ceiling all on level depending on how the builders put it together originally. He knows what he is doing, I don't :) Re my mother, she did a living will after she found out what als was(the doctor didn't explain it to her she looked it up) She refused life support so that is why she wasn't put in a nursing home. Dad took care of her and they had someone come in once a week a clean and take care of her so Dad could have a break. I am sure with life support it could have went longer than 3 years. She once said that it was terrifying when flies would sit on her and she couldn't get them away.

Deb, when I did that workout I really felt it too. It seems like I remember Chalean having a skiing accident and being in a wheel chair for awhile. It seemed like she slowed down a bit after that. She came out with the two low impact Turbo Fires and then Piyo. Maybe that could be why. I saw pictures of her in the wheel chair on her facebook or somewhere like that and she was lamenting what she was going through.
I hate paper filing. My file cabinet was so packed so when we moved here my husband finally cleared a lot of it out for me. I go back and file everything about once a month because I tend to just stack it inside till I get to it.

Lynda, does that workout have lots of overhead moves and compound moves. I have had my eye on what I want to try when I go back to some upper work. I like that it is Low Impact. Yes, those blasts look kind of intense. I think my granddaughter only had one week of Spring Break at UCO. Our weather is like that too. Sometimes we will suddenly have loads of snow or spring will be lots of tornados and bad storms that last even into the summer. We have had some pretty mild weather the last couple of years.

Valerie, it sounds like you are having an enjoyable and active vacation. Have a safe trip as you work your way home.

Good evening ladies!

This morning I did Low Impact Sweat 1 followed up with SB's most recent bridge target. Felt good! No workout with the ladies. We were all late today because of the snow and messy driving. Ended up with about 5 inches. Not too bad but enough to be a pain.

Deb...I have done Lean Lower Body and agree this is a great one! I think Chalene is beautiful! I do not get it either! Crazy. We have a large screen that is huge and has a tripod stand. It auto rolls up into a long case to be stored away. You need to have the space for it which we do. Tomorrow at work when I am on my computer I'll post a picture of it. We usually use it out side but we thought inside would be fun and it really was.

Lynda...any snow for you? It pretty much is all gone at this point. I shoveled a little this morning but that was all that was needed. We watched Bridge of Spies then We're the Millers. My son has both of these on Blue Ray so we hooked the BR player to the projector and it worked perfectly. I think it is full of Blarney!

Valerie...funny you wore them out! Don't think there are many out there that can pit last you and your DH when ot comes to those activities. Glad you are enjoying your trip.

Diane Sue...wow 1.40 minutes! Good for you! Funny how you start a workout thinking oh I am only going to do a few minutes...than Bam you did it all. Love when that happens! I would like recessed lighting in our kitchen. This is something I would not feel comfortable doing on my own so would need to hire out. In the Fall we will have that done. So sad about your mom. Hmmm that makes since then about Chalene hurting herself. I did not know that.

Hi to Judy and Josie!!

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I did Core Max and 4 DS Legs. I kept my weights on the lighter side for the leg workout and I didn't do the 2 sets of deadlifts, I did extra lunges instead. Today I did a 90 minute Spinerval. So far, I feel pretty good, no low back or hip pain.

Deb-that's too bad about the agility class. You are doing so great with the Live workouts!

Diane Sue-I'm so sorry about your Mom. ALS is a horrible disease.

Lori- I'm sorry you got more snow. We might get a few inches later this week. The forecasters can't seem to decide what part of Michigan is going to get snow so we'll just have to wait and see. It did get cold again so it feels like winter.

Valerie-sounds like you are having a great trip and getting lots of exercise in too!

Hi to Lynda & Josie!

Judy

Here is a link about Chalean and the accident. This is a blog post from 2011. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4205357
I did notice when I was on a Beachbody Check in that some there could not understand wanting to do Chalean's workouts. Anyway I chimed in with another woman that was liking Chalean Extreme. She is motivating and has a fun personality. In my opinion Autumn and Sagi are not that fun. Motivating in a drill sergeant sort of way. Not that I don't like them but Chalean has a better personality in my opinion. Edited to add that I just read all of that Chalean Blog and it s pretty good.

Lori, to me any snow is a bit of a pain to me :) Our lighting in the kitchen is so dated with the inset fluorescent lighting. My husband doesn't want it to look like a quick fix, he wants to tear out some of it to make it level. That is hard to explain but there is a 12 inch sort of beam area there that is dropped for the inset where the lights are he wants it level with the rest of the ceiling across the kitchen. We have fancy curved track lights that we purchased with LED lights and ordered tin ceiling tiles that should be here in the next couple of days. It should be so much brighter in there. He is going to recess the electrical and make it into two for the lights. They have wires running from one electrical place to 4 fluorescent lights in there now. We have the recessed lighting in the dining area.

Judy, that is good that there is no hip pain. Do you just do the 90 minute spinerval with no entertainment or anything? I did find that it wasn't so bad doing the live spin workout without listening to a podcast or something because I hadn't done it before. I get bored :)

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Live Cardio Circuit Challenge Express. Lots of modifying on this one, but Cathe does show a few of them, which was nice for a change. Late night last night....class ended around 9:45, and I didn't sleep well again. Not sure what is up with that now.

Lynda, I need to try that workout...will put it on my "cardio" list. Like the one I did yesterday, I find that I need to use these for cardio, just use lower the weights, since I don't do step, and really am not into the kickboxing ones. I hope there is another season of Bosch. I am finding it hard to find something I like to watch right now.

Valerie, nice trip!

Diane Sue, cudos for doing 2 Live workouts in a row....wow...:). Your new lighting sounds nice, you will have to post pics when it's finished. I am thinking of changing all the handles on my kitchen cupboards and drawers and that is a BIG projecrt for me.....:). That makes sense about Chalene if she has had an accident...and if she wants to taper off a bit. Thanks for the link, I will read it in a bit. I hate paper filing too, but worse is shredding....now I have a box of paper to shred.

Lori, it sounds like you are feeling better, that's great. ugh, 5 inches of snow, after the nice weather you have had.

Judy, great workouts, good modifying. Did you find a Body Bar that you like?

Hi Josie!

Possibly a workout, if I can keep my eyes open....then more HouseMax....getting ready for Sunday. What's everyone doing for Easter? We are having my brother's kids ( my nieces) and their kids for brunch.

Take care,

Hi everyone--

This morning I did the Live 80s style cardio with low impact blasts (48 min.). Cathe shows a lot of modifications to keep the cardio low impact. I like the music on this one and the cardio reminds me a lot of Jane Fonda and Kathy Smith, both I did a lot before finding Cathe and The Firm.

Deb, you might like Endeavor on Prime. It's Inspector Morse when he was a young man, just beginning to be a detective. I think there are 3 seasons, but each episode is pretty long. The low impact hiit circuit is great for the upper body weight work, which I match to Cathe, but you might want to lower the weights. No plans for Easter this year. We might go out to dinner.

Diane Sue, that is a long workout. The low impact circuit workout might not be good for your shoulder and neck. She does overhead triceps with two twelve pounders while also in a lunge position. Lots of overhead shoulder work too. Never did any workouts by Chalene. I think I saw a clip of her and thought her workout clothes were zany.

Lori, no snow here at all. I liked both of those films, especially Bridge of Spies.

Judy, that's good news that you have not started the hip/ back problem again.

Hi to Josie and Valerie!

Today I did Cathe live Rock it Sock It, 53 minutes, 380 calories. Ripped With Hiit Abs 1, 10 minute Ab Chisel, 11 minutes, and Turbo Fire 10 minute abs and 10 minute stretch, 45 minutes, 171 calories. Total time was 1 hr 40 minutes again and 551 calories. I also threw in some foam rolling and shoulder stretches while loading workouts. I think more than half of Rock it Sock it is boxing and upper focused. The shoulder and neck are a lot better and I have not had to take anything for it the last two days :D

Lynda, I have that workout checked to do. I went down the list and checked what I was pretty sure I could do with the neck issue. Thanks for the information on it. My daughter and I used to do Kathy Smith and she took my Kathy Smith workouts with her. She still likes to do Kathy Smith. Chelean does wear some interesting outfits in some of her workouts. In one of the Chalean workouts she is wearing boots.

Deb, I have things I am trying to do before Sunday. I am going to try to get in the kitchen and mix up cookie dough for easter cookies with Hersheys kisses. I am not sure how much will get done today because we had to order new batteries for a saw and they won't arrive till tomorrow. We have all 8 of our grandchildren coming and my children and their spouses. We do it every year. We put money in the Easter eggs. The children love that. Having older ones and the little ones makes it a bit difficult to find fun things to do. They decorate eggs. I was going to help them make origami bunnies if I can figure it out myself first. I found one that was made and used to put candy in like a small party basket. I am surprised Chalean can move around well after more than one accident. I had to hunt that down because I don't think she has that blog anymore. She does more motivational stuff and has a book out and different programs. I used to read her blog once in awhile.

Good evening ladies!

This morning I started back with CLX and did Push Circuits 1. It was only 33 minutes so I added on Icy Core 1. Felt great. At lunch we did Barre and Bands. Was good to workout with the ladies!

Diane Sue...thanks for the link to Chalene. I'll read it tonight. I love Cathe's Live Kickboxing but always think of them as Upperbody and Core work. Sounds like a wonderful Easter at your home. My DS and his GF will be up and my brother and his long time GF will be visiting. Will be nice. Have not seen my younger brother in about a year so I am looking forward to his visit.

Judy...glad your back and hip are good. We got all that snow yesterday morning and today it doesn't even look like it snowed. I'll take this!

Deb...I think I liked that workout when I did it. You usually have the family over at Easter correct? Sounds like a fun time too at your house. Yesterday I bought candy and a couple of baskets. I still make one up for my son and have started a couple years ago including one for his GF. They both love it and I really enjoy doing it. :)

Lynda...lol! On Chalene's workout clothes! Yeah she is over the top but I love her just the same. We liked Bridge of Spies and really laughed through We're the Millers. Very funny movie. The low impact circuit is a favorite of mine also. Where are you planning to have Easter Dinner?

Hi to Valerie and Josie!

Hi Everyone,

This morning I did my old favorite, Muscle Endurance. I skipped the deadlifts just to be safe. I have a massage appointment Thursday afternoon.

Diane Sue-I usually do Spinervals without having anything else on. Sometimes it gets a little boring and I will pick up my
iPad and look at Facebook or check my email. When I was doing the really long rides (3 hours+) I would usually watch shows or movies on Amazon. You are doing some awesome workouts!

Deb-I think I'm going to get the body bar that you mentioned, the 18 lb one from Amazon. I couldn't really find a better deal. I'll probably order it next week. I don't think we are doing anything special for Easter. Chris has a 4 day weekend, which is really nice. We'll probably go out to eat a couple of times and I'll make something for Easter dinner.

Lynda-I love Cathe's Live 80's Cardio! I need to put that on my list to do again soon. I've never done Chalene's workouts either.

Lori-Sounds like you have a nice Easter planned! I'm glad your snow is gone. We might get a little on Thursday or Friday but hopefully it won't last long.

Hi to Valerie & Josie!

Judy

Good morning,

No workout yesterday, I was too tired. I did end up going out to get Easter candy, and to tethe library. While I was parking there, a gentleman that was waiting for his wife to come out, pointed out that my inspection sticker was overdue. He could tell my the color. I looked at it an yep, OVERDUE???? It was due in August. YIKES. I called the dealer right from the parking lot, and they said they could take me right then if I dropped the car off....could not wait for it. They have a free shuttle so that is what I did. There are still some good Samaritans life in this world.

Lynda, I did that 80's workout, and I think I liked it too. They are starting to all merge together now. I'm glad I keep notes on the printout from Lori, as to what weights I used, and if I liked the workout. Thanks, I think I started Endeavour, not sure why I didn't keep up with it. I will go back to it and see.

Diane Sue, good to hear your shoulder and neck are much better. Do you think it was the roller? That sounds like fun for the kids for Easter. What a nice Grandmother! :). I bought these tiny paper Easter baskets at the dollar store, and will fill each with chocolate eggs and jelly beans, will put one on each plate kind of like a favor/decoration.

Lori, great that you got the ladies to workout again. You are their motivator for sure. I bet they never do it when you are not around, or do they? Yes, my brother, SIL and my nieces, with their spouses and their kids come for brunch every year. We are 15.

Judy, your weekend plans, with Chris being off sounds great! It amazes me that you can do a spin workout for 3+ hours.

Hi to Valerie, & Josie.

A workout, lunch with my friend from work, then I am meeting my cousin to go over to her new house for the first time since closing today. So exciting for her :). Then Kylee's class later at 5:30.

Take care,

Hi everyone--

This morning I did CLB (48 min.).

Sounds like everyone has fun plans for Easter Sunday. We will probably just go out to dinner at our usual place--Mezze's.

Lori, I guess you are getting the ladies back in shape again. It must feel great not to be coughing and back to your former self.

Deb and Judy--what do you plan to do with the 18 lb. body bar? Does Cathe use it in one of the Live workouts?

Diane Sue, you are going to have a crowd for Easter for sure! I am amazed at how long you work out.

No workout for me tomorrow--DH is getting his colonoscopy and I will be taking him for his early morning appointment. Glad It's not me! He does not seem to mind doing the big jug though.

ttfn

Good evening ladies!

No workout this morning. Going to start working out in the evenings with my DH. He has been doing well and he says it motivates him if we workout together. How can I refuse that? So as longs as he is consistent I told him sure! Tonight I did Live Cardio Strength Blast. This one moves really fast. 30 or so minutes into I was huffing and puffing (I am still congested) and about to call it a day then she switched to compound moves only until the core work so I was able to finish up. This morning I still got up early, had coffee, played with the doggies and watched the news. Do not want to get in the habit of sleeping later if he is not consistent. No workout with the ladies...today we had a really heavy package day so we were all tired. I had one of our restaurants deliver pizza, salad and cookies. So we ate instead of working out. :)

Judy... Agree that you are amazing doing spinervals for 3 hours. I could never! So nice Chris has 4 days off. Enjoy your time.

Deb...that is so nice of that man! Wow since August! You are soooo lucky not to be pulled over. In Massachusetts I think it is a $50 fine. The lunch ladies are funny...sometimes they workout with out me but some days use any excuse not too! Hope you have a nice visit with your cousin. Did she buy close by to you? I know what you mean about the workouts all blending together when you do enough of them. Glad you are getting use out of the spread sheet. I'll be updating soon. Because I need to start taking little notes too!

Lynda...I do feel so much better this week. I am still blowing my nose and coughing every now and then. I think my poor nose is going to be permanently raw. My DH did not mind all the prep before either. I hate it!

Diane Sue...agree your long workouts are amazing. I have been really good about wearing my heart rate monitor. I like seeing how many calories. Today's workout was only 38 minutes and I burnt 330 calories! Heart rate was lowest at 83 to the highest of 172bpm. It was up there!

Hi to Valerie and Josie!

I am checking in late today. I worked out and ran out to get some shopping done for Easter Sunday and family coming. I wanted to miss the crowds but am going to have to go back out tomorrow or Friday. I need to hit Hobby Lobby for some art needs. I am working on a painting for my granddaughter's birthday in May and oils take awhile to dry. I just found out that my granddaughter 15 wants to spend the night tomorrow and I will pick her up from school She is the one I am doing the painting for. I don't know whether to put the stuff up or just let her think I started back to painting again as she was encouraging me to. I haven't painted anything for a couple of years. Just messed with watercolor pencils. Everything was in storage and some needs to be replaced. She wont recognize it yet as being on their land. I am just doing the underpainting and sky first. I am pulled though and may end up doing more than one because this one was going to have the windmill in it but I think the old cistern and pump would make a cool painting too. I just need to find a picture with it in it. I wanted to try some lighter upper work today to see how I do so I did Cathe Live Ice Chiseled Upper and Lower Body Blast, 52 minutes, 306 calories followed by part of Live Bun Burner Barre and Ball, barre, ball and stretch, 27 minutes, 127 calories. Total time 79 minutes, 433 calories. I also did Fitness Blender Lower Back Stretch fpr sore muscles with Daniel and some extra foam rolling but did not count that with the workout.

Lynda we always have a big crowd when have our gatherings. It is always fun chaos. I do not envy your husband. At least it is early. I did that once and had to go all night with all of that jug of stuff and misery and the colonoscopy was not till 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I was starving and miserable by the time I got home. The procedure itself wasn't bad though.

Deb, good thing your attention was called to the inspection sticker. We don't have to do that here. I remember it in California. I let my drivers license expire two times and now I have my phone remind me yearly to check. It is miserable to have to go to the dmv here. Only a couple of places to go and even with an appointment you have at least an hour and a half wait. I got up and went when dh was gone at 7 am thinking I would be there when the doors opened and there was a crowd. I think the little bunny origami was meant to be used as sort of a table party favors. I just thought they would be fun for the older ones to make and they could put goodies in them. I am sure the 22 month old will have his torn up in no time :) I really do think the foam roller has made a great difference. Whenever it feels like it is tight and sort of the burning pinched feeling in my delt that moves up into my neck I go roll it out for awhile and stretch and it feels so much better.

Judy, I don't think I could ever stay on a piece of fitness equipment that long. I can go quite awhile on the Tread climber because I bought a surf desk that mounts on it and I can attach my computer or I use it to hold my tablet and I read. It has a pocket on it where I can listen to podcasts. But I don't think I ever stayed on much over an hour.

Lori, I always loved the format of Les Mills Combat for kickboxing. My brothers both live in Nebraska so it has been awhile since I have seen them. I talk to them on the phone though. That is nice that you get to see yours.
