Pentagenarians & Beyond: W/B 2/5

I'm stopping by for a quick hello to everyone. No workout for me today. I had my investment club meeting today and stayed after to visit and catch up. It was a nice day.

Good afternoon ladies!

This morning was all about SB. Yesterday was a rest day so I did Lower Body Scuplting Circuit 27m and then what was schedule today which was Standing Abs 18m. I really liked both of these workouts a lot. I followed up with her Cardio Bounce and the Booty Bounce, both from her DVD. 65 minutes and 402 calories.

We received 3 more inches of snow today and a crap more coming on Monday. This morning heard about 18 inches!. So much for the mild winter.

Diane Sue...Today my husband took GiGi for a walk with a 30 ft lead. They had fun in in the snow. She seemed a little calmer and not pulling as much. My watch strap came today and I plan to try it out tomorrow. Looks like the watch is worn on the outside of the bicep. Hoping this works as I am really excited about it. Perfect resolution. I think Susan Chung is a black belt or something up there?

Deb...I can only imagine the questions asked. Good that they are thorough. Agility is a workout! :)

Valerie...congrats on the mattress and I am sure you will love it. I just asked my husband this morning if he is still comfy on ours with the memory foam and he is very satisfied. We will keep going with this until it is no longer comfy! Love that you made some recipes that you came across. I should go thru my mom's box to look for her favorites. I would enjoy that.

Carolyn and Judy...I looked at my Susan Chung's and I have Results, Rapid Fire 3 and 4, and also Kickbox Burn. Planning to do one tomorrow using my new watch strap!

No workout today. I had 3 grandchildren here overnight and hot to bed late and up early. Olivia wanted to workout this afternoon or go for a walk with Gertie , but her baby brother would have made it difficult. We played games and worked with watercolor pencils. We also wo r ked on her learning some pisno. It was mid 80s today. I ended up turning on the air.

Lori, I will be interested in how the strap works for you. I am glad GiGi did better on leash. She 2 I'll do well. It is fun to watch the pups in the snow.)

Deb, we have at&t for cell but cox cable for internet. I would be nervous about the interview. Worried about how well I answered the questions. I suppose most questiions would be somewhat simple thiugh. I know they often check if you keep in contact with people from out of country contacts and aquaintances. It can make it take longer to check out for a job, But it makes sense.
I think we get a lot of our parenting skills by how we are raised or from the examples we see. I love children , but did it for so many years, I just prefer to enjoy the grandchildren. Ther are a lot of not so good daycare providers out there. Finding someone who can truly love others children is rare. It had its rewards for me . It also tied me down to the house and I think sometimes it was more exhausting than an 8 hour job outside the home. We have friends that never had children. Their lives were and stll are much different than ours. Holiday routines, vacations, and more time for themselves.
Crock pots always seem to cook way to fast . It is hard to cook something for a long t I'm in them. A lot of recipes that I use require sautéing and then putting it in the slow cooker. I have had my eye on an instapot for cooking. They are making cookbooks and have recipes on Pinterest using one. It does multiple tasks.
