Good morning,

Yesterday was a rest day for me....Keegan's agility class was my workout. He was so good, and it was a lot of fun.

Valerie, welcome back! It sounds like you had a great time and some nice rides. I feel like you....why can't they just put the phone away and enjoy real life? Sorry about the credit card....that is awful :(. If you only used for one thing, that is probably where it happened, if the bogus charges went on after your one use.

Diane Sue, I hope the double party went well. I am now considered a Live Enabler...LOL. I really think the price is worth it, and can justify it easily enough....we go out to eat a lot, $9.99 is about the price of one lunch out....and look at all you get for a month! The nice thing is you can try it for a month, no contract to sign unless you want to. You can get the ICE workouts via download instead of DVD's, I think signing up for On Demand just for the ICE workouts would not be worth it, since you have all the other DVD's.

Hi to Judy, Josie, Lynda & Lori,

A workout, and HouseMax for me today,

Take care,

Good morning ladies!

Yesterday I did CXL Burn Circuit 3 followed up with Live Low Impact Crush. I used firewalker loops until she turned the mat horizontal. Was a great workout. Not sue what today will bring.

Yesterday was the first Saturday that my DH and I enjoyed together in a long time. We painted 1/2 the built in china closet and we'll do the other half today. Later we went to dinner at out local favorite restaurant. When we came back we started watching season one of The Fall. Felt like a normal day couples have and it felt great. We are looking forward to many more!

Valerie...sounds like a beautiful view. I completely get what you mean about everyone with thier faces in their phone. Especially in restaurants. Kind of sad being at that beautiful place and they can't look away to appreciate it. So sorry about your card. I remember when this recently happened to you. My card has been compromised a couple of times. We now use two cards and that was becuasue of you that we do. I think you were on vacation when it happened or mentioned you could have been. This got me thinking if we were away and our card gets shut off due to it being compromised then we could be screwed! We try to limit our debit card use especially when we travel!

Deb...yeah for Keegan! You are such an enabler! I love love love the Giant Sets workout and have done it a few times. Those light weights get you don't they! A good lower body one is Long Strong Legs. It is about 50 minutes and has some barre at the end. Not much just a little so you can easily shorten by skipping the barre. She is all by herself in this one. After typing this I may do this one today!

Diane Sue...lol! Bosu Blast. Gotta love auto check. Great leg workout. I have been regularly wearing my HR monitor because of your posts. You make me want to see calories burned! I like all of the Ice Dvds but To The Mat. Only because I like floor work but not a complete workout of it. It's a great set you can work with. Make it tougher when you want to or leave as is for still a really great workout.

Hope you had a nice day yesterday Judy...did you get to the pretzel move? Curious how you liked it. I will be doing it today for sure.

Josie...how was your ride?

Lynda...so nice in NE yesterday. This was such a great winter in my books compared to what we had last year.

Have a great Sunday all

Lori...that is too funny, that is the one I did today, ( Long & Strong Legs) and this is what I wrote in MFP....

This is a KILLER! Cathe is alone on this one ( I guess they had tech difficulties in the am, so she filmed alone at 10:30 at night...w/o seeing the exercisers and the pain showing on their faces, she just keeps going....LOL..

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday was a rest day.

We enjoyed the stamp show. We did some shopping on the way back from Toledo. It's amazing the difference in highway conditions going from Michigan to Ohio. Michigan roads are horrible! Potholes and bumps everywhere. Ohio does a much better job maintaining their roads.

Deb-I agree, that move is unsafe. I've been using a weighted vest and less weight on the barbell so I don't have to bend down to get the barbell off of my shoulders anymore. I can lift a 35 lb barbell and get it over my head so with a 20 lb vest I can squat 55 lbs. I know my legs are strong enough to squat more, but in one of Cathe's STS youtube videos she says that if you don't have a squat rack and are limited in how much you can squat then you can increase the reps to help make up for it.

Valerie-I'm sorry about your credit card :( That's one of my biggest fears. That happened to DH last year.

Lori-it sounds like you are having a great weekend! I didn't try the pretzel move yet but I'm planning on trying it later today.

Diane Sue-that is odd that your doctor would suggest cross training, since you are already cross training.

Hi to Lynda & Josie!

Hi everyone--

This morning I did Total Body Reps live (60 min.). This one reminds me of Power Hour--low weight on the barbell, but a lot of reps and one upper body part at a time interspersed with leg exercises. Definitely endurance conditioning.

Deb, that sounds like a killer workout for the legs. One-on-one with Cathe? And she is doing it at 10:30 at night? Glad Keegan gave you a good time. I don't think DA is on tonight--maybe because of the Oscars?? I guess the finale will be next week then. I think Live is definitely worth the money--so much to choose from now that she has been creating these workouts for a few years.

Valerie, that is troubling about your card. Do you have a chip card? That sounds like a lovely area to hike and bike in. When I first started teaching at Williams, I would walk around campus and always be greeted by students I knew. Now, they all walk around with earbuds or else on their phones texting. It was very strange to see how technology has transformed everything here. Students also bring their computers to class (unless forbidden by the instructor), and may sometimes be drifting away from class watching or doing something on the computer. I also think texting and emailing had an adverse effect on the quality of their writing.

Diane Sue, my older son was a wrestler in high school and I hated the cutting weight thing before a meet. He was really good because he was so strong, but I was much happier when he decided to do track in college--the 400 and 800 meter were his events. My younger son was a soccer and basketball player. Both were really great athletes, and I'm sure it's their father's genes, because I was definitely not an athlete, just a good dancer.

Judy, Michigan sounds like it has a lot of problems economically and that horror story about Flint and lead in the water is terrible. I think I have read that Ohio is on much firmer ground economically. Did your DH find any treasures for his stamp collection?

Lori, yes, this weather is wonderful! I hope it just lasts and lasts. It's also great that your DH now has some time for you to spend together. I hope he finds employment that he enjoys and does not interfere with his home life so much.

Hi to Josie!

We always have 2 credit cards available as this is not the first time. yes Lynda, it's a chip enabled card but has a magnetic stripe yet. most retailers are not upgraded yet. frustrating to not know where the problem is but I think part of the issue is no one seems to track these scammers down. the banks just cancel out the card, get you a new one, and off we go. until the next time.
interesting article this morning in the local paper... speech evaluation software says "the Donald" communicates in language and speeches at a 4th grade level. 4th grade! everyone else uses more complex language. I wonder how low the LCD can possibly go.

the Olympic peninsula is a lovely area. much is national park. we used to do more in the park than we do lately. most areas in parks don't allow cycling. Much of the park is mountains and hiking is pretty limited right now. this is a mixture of land some of it DNR, some national forest, a group of agencies and counties and tribes got together to collaborate and build the trail system. won't be all done for years yet.

Lori, the last time this happened ( couple years ago) we had just returned from a wedding in lake Tahoe. the first time I tried to use our regular cc on return, it didn't work. this was similar...we returned Friday. Saturday night we were alerted by the bank. we used the card at Lowes on Saturday but the bogus charges were from earlier. It was the same thing, we didn't use the card much on either trip. we paid our WA state ferry system with the card and that was it. we didn't buy gas, or eat out. I paid for campgrounds with checks. That's what is so hard about this, you can't tell when or where it happened. could have been a year ago for all we can tell.
Is The Fall the one with Gillian Anderson? we just finished that one. we'd seen season one a long time ago but rewatched it before season 2.

Good evening all!!!

Ended up being a rest day today. By the time we finished all the painting and setting up the dry bar we were ehausted. I still was going to work out but my DH said I really had not had a rest day this week. I worked out everyday either in the morning or just with the lunch ladies. So rest day it was!

Deb...funny about Long Strong Legs. It was actually 10:30AM. One of her camera men passed put during the actual live shooting so they of course stopped. Once he was doing well Cathe sent everyone home and then shot the class by herself a little later than usual. It is a great workout so I am glad she went ahead once knowing all was good with her camera man.

Valerie...Yes The Fall is with Gillian Anderson. We enjoyed the first episode and plan to continue. How many seasons are there? I see 2 on Netflex.

Lynda...I have not done Total Body Reps yet but been meaning too. This weekend was so nice! Been ages since we spent this much time with eachother during a weekend. Was very nice.

Judy...glad you enjoyed the stamp show. Funny you should mention the road conditions from State to State. I notice a hugh difference here from Town to Town while commuting to work.

Well off to watch the Oscars. Have a great night all!!!

Today is a rest day. I generally take Sundays off. I slept on that shoulder last night without waking and moving. It hurt like crazy this morning :( I am really bummed because it was so much better. It is not exactly something new. I sleep on a Chiro water pillow because I tend to have neck pain after sleeping. It had let up till this. I really thought the pillow had taken care of the problem. My doctor gave me a cream preparation she had mixed for spasms but it really doesn't help me at all. I am better off with ice and tiger balm. It probably didn't help inflammation eating junk food either. I ate chips and ice cream!! I do cheat once in awhile. I need to make some turmeric tea this evening before I go to bed.

Deb, I really should have preordered Ice with the downloads like I did Ripped with Hiit. It came in handy one morning when the power went out for several hours because I was able to do one of the downloads off of my computer even though we had no electricity. Is there a lot of live workouts to choose from? I am going to have to be selective for awhile so right now it helps to know the content of the workouts I am doing. Even Great Glutes and Leaner legs has the standing stuff with overhead presses.

Lori, it is so nice that you and your husband were able to have that time together. I enjoy those days and evenings with mine a lot now that he just works part time stuff. It seems weird to not have a real schedule a lot of the time. Although I like to get up early and he likes to stay up late :) Plus mu dog would not let me sleep past 8. She will sit at t he end of the hall and make whiney noises. After while she will give low barks. She wants to go outside and be fed on schedule. I like floor work to but I also would not that to be the whole workout.

Valerie, I recently had my card compromised. I have had that card for years with no problem. I am still working at getting the new account number set up with everything. I had that happen once before about 10 years ago and a different bank and the bank actually tried to call me but I would not talk to them. I called the bank back to be sure I was talking to the people at my bank. I guess someone had tried to pull a small amount of money from my account for some suspicious thing.

Judy, yes, I thought the doctor must be not thinking straight or something. I really was not impressed with him anyway. He was more than willing to have me keep coming back for steroid injections post surgery. He said I would feel so good I could go back to doing pretty much anything I was doing before. and if it started hurting I could come back for another one. I was very careful because I did not want a false sense of feeling like I could do more than what I should be doing. I did not go back again.

Lynda, I was never an athlete or a dancer. :) I am sort of the two left feet clumsy person. I had my two older grandsons, 15 and 18 here today. I took the 15 year old who is the wrestler and football player to his church for a sort of Jam session he goes to on Sunday afternoons. He is quite the musically talented one too. He was telling me that everyone is always handing him the heavier weights because he has all of the muscle and he has a hard time lifting it. I told him he shouldn't let them take advantage like that because they want to lift the lighter weights.I guess that there are only so many sets of weights to be divided up. I wish he did something like track. He enjoys the sports a lot though. My daughter in the medical field says that is just the way wrestling is and making weight is just part of it. It just doesn't seem healthy to me. I am the worrying nana :) The boys were here helping my husband purge some stuff out of our garage and closet. I think they both drug home some stuff. I am sure their parents will appreciate it LOL

Lynda-DH found a couple of good stamps. He is working on the Washington-Franklin stamps, which were issued from 1908-1922 and the Columbian Exposition Series from 1893.
I think you are right about Ohio being more stable financially than Michigan.

Lori-I notice some differences in road conditions from town to town here too. When I was working in Livonia there was quite a difference in snow removal between Plymouth and Livonia. The roads in Plymouth would be clear and as soon as I crossed into Livonia there were snow drifts everywhere and cars sliding all over.
After reading about Long & Strong Legs Live, I think I will have to do that one this week.

Diane Sue-I don't blame you for not going back to that doctor. I think it's ok to get a steroid shot when absolutely necessary but I don't think it's something that should be done frequently. Over the past 20 years I've had 2 shots in my foot and 2 in my hip. I would have another if I ever felt I really needed it but I try to do other things first.

Lori there are 2 seasons to The Fall . I liked most of it, not too pleased with the ending. seemed like season 2 got stretched out a bit. Still would say, watch it. it's funy because I thought the first time we watched it, they ended it and it was a surprise to see recently there were 2 seasons.
we started watching Fargo #2, and Better Call Saul. both are good.
Did anyone try to watch the AA's tonight? the local channel have dropped their signal strength because we could not stream from them. It was OK until the show started at 5 our time, 4-5 was clear without breakup, then the clear coverage from the pre show disintegrated to garbage in less than 5 min. every other streaming portal was blocked by Disney. I don't understand.... they complain about dropping interest and lower numbers... then they think it's a good idea to block interested watchers unless you have cable. It's always a tedious show besides, with endless commercials and all the technical awards and acceptance speeches that take up hours. I will not bother again unless something changes. No more. Will watch the highlights tomorrow.

I believe too many steroid injections weaken the structure they are injected into, according to the orthopod I use. I've had the 2 in my shoulder. It's OK now. He won't do them endlessly. if it continues to be an issue, you should look for other options. I don't know if there are exceptions but if it only works for a couple months, it's not fixing the underlying problem.... just covering it up.

I forgot to say that in addition to the cc issues, I had a bike problem. when I got on to ride the second day, something had happened to a shift lever. I don't know what, but it was tweaked out of place. I still was able to shift, but we took it back to the shop and may need one replaced. It's very hard to get the bikes to hang properly on the back of the camper. I suspect something got pushed out of alignment. they don't make many options for truck campers. the hitch is many feet behind the edge of the camper body, so we can't use it. the roof or sides are not possible. it has to get hung on the ladder. no other good choices. the different frame shapes on newer mt bikes is causing fit problems.

Good morning & Happy Leap Year Day!

Yesterday I did Cathe Live Strong & Long Legs. It's pouring here, has all night. Hoping it does not get colder, we could be encases in ice.

Judy, I remember travelling in Michigan and saying the same thing about the condition of the roads/highways. I also remember seeing a lot of junk, car parts, tires tossed on the side of the road. This was really a long time ago though. We have the same issues here with snow removal...once you get out of the city, the streets are nicely plowed, salted etc. my BB set at 35, too. and I have the 20 pound weighted vest. Anything else is too heavy to lift over my head. When I did STS the first time, I used the squat rack on my bench. So much easier.

Lynda, Correct, no DA last night. They did have another episode of The Manners of Downton, which I will watch today. Yes one-on -one with Cathe. She is alone, and it's around 10:30. I thought it was at night....that she said something about "this evening" but I must have heard it wrong. She said she had to send everyone home earlier and is doing this later on. I think it's better if she has a class behind her so she can hear the groans. That way she knows she should let up a bit. LOL. It's really cute, she even forgets one of the exercises, and has to go back and add it in. Did you decide to keep Acorn?

Valerie, I agree, if they ever tracked the credit card scammers down, maybe it would reduce the scamming. I think they only go after the big offenders. I am leery about using mine in any type machine, gas pump etc. Did that ferry payment go to a live person, who took the card away, or was it a automated machine type payment? I looked up The Fall in Prime, but it's not free yet. :(. Sorry about your bike, that was a new one right?

Lori, good to take a rest day and spend the time with your DH. so that was the one where someone passed out....glad he was ok. I am surprised she did it anyway, Cathe is such a trooper! Can you post the link for your PDF of the Live workouts for Diane Sue? Thanks!

Diane Sue, I hope your neck/shoulder are better soon. Maybe time to see a DR? There are about 88 or so Live workouts. Lori has put together a great PDF document that has them all listed, with type, description, and equipment needed. It's great! She posted a link to the latest here, I am sure she won't mind posting again.

Josie, how was the long ride?

A workout, then meeting an good friend from one of our competitors, for lunch.

Take care,

Deb, the WA state ferry system is HUGE state agency. part of the DOT. Because our camper is larger than a car, we need to reserve space ahead of time. we give the card # over the phone to a "live" person as a deposit, and then when we get way to the landing, we physically hand the card to a real person. I doubt there is a breach there. DH has health insurance thru Premera . they had a data breach a year ago and our number may have been involved, but don't know for sure. I only use ATMs at banks . am very careful.

Yes, it's my new bike.:mad: to hang them on the carrier we need to take off the wheels. hang upside down facing one way only, and strap in place. it was the left shifter and should have been under the truck bumper which is padded. just can't see how it happened. it wasn't scraped or dinged looking, but the handle was pushed out of place. we looked up the shifter, and the internal mechanism is pretty fancy, I think they will need to replace it.

did anyone else get to watch the Oscars? I don't usually make it thru the whole thing but last night was hopeless. the telecast was almost totally blocked. we usually stream the channel. it was fine until 5 pm yesterday, and was fine this morning. I had it on for the pre Oscar show and it was perfectly clear reception. went to crap immediately when the actual show came on.

we don't usually talk much politics ... did anyone else read the Dave Brooks column from the NYT yesterday? his take on what is happening to political discourse in this country and why Trump is doing so well. I'll put in a link. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/02/26/o...est&contentPlacement=1&pgtype=collection&_r=0

Diane sue, I am the one in the corner with 3 left feet. I have good endurance, no dance ability at all. I hate anything step related. . Totally Trigger, we say here. as in roy rogers.

Hi everyone--

This morning I did Live Cardio Mish-Mosh (44 min.), and I won't be doing it again. Way, way too much impact and I had a hard time coming up with modifications for a lot of the jumping. I didn't feel too bad, because I could see some of the background exercisers fudging the moves like me.

Deb, yesterday here was absolutely gorgeous, but today is GRAY and raining. So you did the leg workout a second time even though it was grueling??

Diane Sue, I would be hesitant as well about getting multiple cortisone shots. I had a couple years of a very bad knee and my orthopedist definitely said after the third shot that I should start thinking about knee replacement. The pain went away though, and I have been pretty good since then. I also had 2 shots for my shoulder tendonitis a few years ago and that went away too. I thought the cutting weight thing was unhealthy too because then, after starving for a couple days, my son would do the weigh-in and promptly gorge himself. He was in the 165 lb weight class and all muscle. When I would watch him, I would scrunch myself up for some reason in some kind of sympathetic agony I guess.

Judy, I bet it's fun if you know what you are looking for in stamps. My sons were really into baseball cards for awhile and they do have some good ones. I don't know if they will ever sell their favorites.

Valerie, David Brooks was one of the honorary degree people at commencement the year I retired. I was surprised that he was so short. I don't read his column too often because I find them to be kind of preachy and condescending. This one was pretty good, but I agree with some of the comments that Trump is less scary than Cruz or Rubio, who are definitely ideologues, while Trump is willing to 'deal'. I find all the name-calling and insults to be macho crap--schoolyard bullies having a go at one another. Love Better Call Saul, now in its second season. You will love the second season of Fargo I bet. But have you tried Making a Murderer. There you really get those midwest accents.

I did watch the Oscar ceremony up until Gaga was going to sing. Chris Rock was absolutely hilarious, and especially funny and spot on dealing with the accusations about Hollywood being racist and sexist. One of his jokes: "Now we are being told not to ask the women about what they are wearing and talk about something else. If George Clooney were wearing a lime green suit with a swan coming out of his ass, I bet we'd ask him, 'Hey, George, what are you wearing here?'" Rock was just much, much better and more fun and funnier than last year. It's just too long for me stay up.

I made a doctor appointment for my shoulder and neck. I have to leave here in about 20 minutes. This morning I Ripped with Hiit Low Impact Hiit 1, 28 minutes, 183 calories modifying a couple of the moves. I wanted to use the spin bike and watch a movie. My laptop had some sort of crash so had to go through all kinds of stuff to fix it. I ended up watching part of a movie on Vudu and spinning for about 30 minutes before the computer was done, I then put in Pedal Power and did Timesaver 3 skipping the warm up. The workout was 60 minute and calories 449. Total time was 88 minutes and calories burned 632. Tomorrow will be a busy day and I will have to see what I can do. I have to be at my daughters by noon and she lives in a smaller city outside Oklahoma City. I am taking care of her Daycare group so she can take my grandson ( the wrestler) in for a lymph node that has not went away after treatment with antibiotics for some skin infection my daughter treated on his face. Now he has something new on him and so he will see the medical doctor and then my daughter. When I get back we will be going to the polls.

Judy, I always try to see what I can do for myself before I hit the doctor. It was quite a few months before I finally went to the doctor for the knee. At the time my medical doctor was 100 miles from where we were living so it took a while to get the mri and x-rays and finally see the surgeon that had to be approved.

Valerie, I am sorry you had bike issues too. That would be frustrating. LOL on Totally Trigger :)

Deb, I found where Lori posted the live workouts PDF. I downloaded it and was looking at it last night. I need to see what I think I can use right now before I sign up for it. It looks great, thanks to Lori :) Yes, time to see a doctor.

Lynda, my knee is much improved but, it does have arthritis. The surgeon said he was surprised how much was in there as I was in such good shape. Not sure that that should have made much difference in the arthritis. I would try to avoid knee replacement surgery. Anything like that really, if at all possible . When I watch my grandson wrestle I get so tense and can feel my muscle tighten. It is funny how that works.

I am back from the doctor. She thinks it is my rotator cuff but it is probably not torn. It is causing the neck pain which is caused from my arthritis. Anyway, she gave me some meds that I am not likely to use except maybe to sleep. A muscle relaxer and something that is a 24 hour pain reliever to replace all of the Advil that is making me nauseated. I already had those for the neck and I told her they don't work. She said try two. Both meds cause drowsiness. I hate that. I can keep up working out like I have been doing. At first she said I might even be able to get away with some bicep curls and stuff that doesn't directly hit the shoulder area. I think I will stick with what I feel.

Good evening ladies!

This morning I did CXL Burn Circuits 1. No lunch time workout because I had a couple of errands to take care of. I did come home and did some stretching then went on the inversion table. Sometimes a good stretch is amazing!

Diane Sue...I am so sorry to hear about your shoulder. When my shoulder was at it's worse I was still able to workout but needed to modify plenty. Still got great workouts in so was very glad about this. Sounds like you know what you can do and what to modify. Glad you found the Live list. I'll try to update more frequently than I have been. We are the same way...I get up ridiculously early (even on weekends) and go to bed early. My DH likes to be up late and sleep in a bit

Valerie...oh no your new bike! Glad they are able to fix. Stinks about trying to mount and it being tricky. Funny The Fall is only 2 seasons and each only about 6 eposodes. Thought there would be more. We are looking forward to continuing with it. I tried watching the Oscars but fell asleep rather quickly. Woke up to see Leo win his but that was it! Thanks for the link. My DH wants to read it.

Deb...Did you like Long & Strong Legs? This is one of my favorites. I actually like the one on one aspect of it. Makes it a little different. I'll try and see if I can stream The Manners episode. I liked when they did this previously. I am assuming it is all together different?

Lynda...there are some Live workouts I have done and thought...will not be doing this one again! The most recent step workout I have no desire to do.

Judy...glad you enjoyed the stamp show and DH made a purchase. I think I mentioned to you one of my brothers had collected stamps in the 60's and 70's. I will have to ask whatever happend to them. He had a pretty decent collection.

Hi to Josie!

Hi Everyone,

This is an active rest week for me. Yesterday I did a 30 minute easy spin. Today I did part of Barre Amped Fire and 30 minutes of Yoga Tune Up.

Valerie-I'm sorry about your new bike :( I didn't watch the Oscars. I'm so out of touch with what is on TV that I didn't even know it was on until I read about it on Facebook today.

Deb-Unfortunately many roads in SE Michigan are still as you described. When we travel out of state I am amazed at the difference. I was pretty shocked when I moved here too. We are getting another snow storm starting tomorrow afternoon and going into Wednesday.

Lynda-Yes, it is fun and interesting to look for stamps. They also have other things at some of the shows. Last month I found an album of JFK first day covers for $30. I have a small collection of JFK & JFK Jr. memorabilia so I was happy to add something to it.

Diane Sue- I'm sorry about your shoulder. It's good that you can still workout. I don't like taking things either. I can take ibuprofen, but aleve makes me sick.

Lori-I did part of Barre Amped Fire, with the pretzel today. That is a good move! I did 2 segments, "Thigh & Seat" and "Abs Blast". They are short but challenging. I'm going to do the rest of the workout later this week.

Hi to Josie!

We did a road ride today, 26 miles, 2 hrs 15. no word on my bike. I'm sure the left shift mechanism will need replacing. We will be more careful IF we can figure out where it got "pushed" out of position, if that's what happened. It worked fine one day and didn't the next and all we did was load it and drive so I think chances are something pressed on something else. The bike rack is not great but the best we found.

Diane sue, if it hurts, modify or don't do it. shoulder injuries seem to take time to get better and if you regularly re- irritate the spot, it delays healing. I had to lay off upper body work for a long time but it got better without surgery.
My knee is much better. I'm amazed. it was re learning proper ROM,doing it over and over. I don't know how I started walking downhill "wrong" but it feels so much better now , and only PT involved. I hope when we start real hiking it will continue to function normally.

Lynda, I don't always like Brooks but I thought this time he was spot on. It amazes me when voters purposely elect inexperienced people for office. what other field do you purposely try to get people who have no idea what they're doing? would you hire a doctor, tax attorney, or a roof replacement person or a painter who was that inexperienced? no sense. I don't think Rubio or Cruz will catch Trump now but it's scary because the cycle of idiotic ideaologues seems self perpetuating. I like
chris rock... he is edgy enough and I think he's hilarious and biting. Way better than Neal Patrick harris. blech.

Lori, when we watched The Fall the first time, we thought after the first season it was over. then later we saw there were 2 seasons. so we watched again. I think they left the 2nd season ending unclear enough to allow for another season.... if they wanted. don't know for sure. Seems like most series end that way as they're not sure of being renewed. Gillian Anderson plays a very intriguing character.

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Live "For the Love of Cardio". Like the one Lynda mentioned, this was "ok" not sure I would do it again. Too much impact, and I had to constantly "think" of modifying. Some exercises I couldn't even modify. :(.

Valerie, I bet you may have called it...it could be the health provider breach. Blue Cross was breached when we were signed up with them, but luckily nothing happened to us so far. We don't have them any longer, but the info that they supposedly got is still valid stuff. Will you need to look for a new carrier for the bikes? Oh...I got The Fall Season 1 from the library...looks good, thanks for mentioning here. I hope they have the second season.

Lynda, same here on the cardio I did yesterday...I saw some of the exercisers trying to modify and not doing well....like me, standing there for a couple seconds...waiting for the next exercise....and this one had the dreaded Burpees! No, I didn't do the Leg one twice...just on Sunday. I still have DOMS.
A question....I know you have mentioned trying some of her stuff...have you ever tried this?:
http://www.charlottetilbury.com/uk/new-magic-foundation..yikes! I just looked at the prices....

Diane Sue, glad the DR appointment was good and no tear. I agree with you on the meds, but if you can't sleep, that can cause other issues. I hope all went well for your grandson too as well.

Lori, I kind of have a Love/Hate thing with Long & Strong Legs. I like the weight work a lot, but the barre stuff is so hard for me. I guess that means I need to do it more. LOL. Glad it is only about 10 minutes long at the end. I could not do all the calf work either, just kept doing my own really slow. My calves are still hurting. Yes, the Manners special is a new one, very interesting. I watched on Masterpiece/PBS. I was thinking of doing a 1-5 rating in pencil on the Live spreadsheet, so I remember which I liked a lot, and which I may not do again. Thanks again for doing this!

Judy, thanks for the "heads up" on the snow storm....we are supposed to get it tonight. What are JFK first day covers? (hope not a dumb question!)

Josie, how is the riding going?

Take care,
