Good morning all,

Rain, Rain and more Rain. It's been raining for hours, all night that is all I could hear. I feel bad for the people that have leaking basements.

Lori, that was such a wonderful gift for your DH...and Yay for your Apple Watch! Mentioning that you do a Chinese feast for Christmas reminds me of the part in Christmas Story when they have to go to the Chinese restaurant because the dogs ate the turkey! LOL.

Lynda, a hike on Christmas after dinner....isn't this weather amazing? I think we are having warmer weather than they are on the West coast. I keep thinking that we will pay for this eventually. :(. I bet your office looks great!

Valerie, it wasn't me that mentioned Last Tango in Halifax, but since you gave it a good review, I will be looking it up on Prime. I hope it's there. I am watching The Killing right now, that takes place in Seattle.....wow, I really hope they are exaggerating the rain, but I don't see how that could be. I believe it is filmed right there in the city, lots of sites that are real I think. I will mention the padded shorts...but so far he says the seat is pretty comfortable. I guess it could get uncomfortable when he starts to increase the time of his workouts.

Hi to Josie, ( hope you are winning!), and Judy,

I want to start the first ICE rotation, but it starts with the Kickbox one, and I just did that a couple days ago....I think I will mix it up a bit, maybe start with the Bootcamp one...

Take care,

Hi everyone--

This morning I did Chiseled Lower Body Blast (approx 48 min). This one seems very similar to the lower body with contrast training from RWH and there is a good share of impact with occasional mods by Amanda. What is it with all the jumping jacks??? I guess it's just okay for me because I have to do my own modifications at times.

Deb, I watched The Killing when it was on TV. Yes, it seemed like it was raining all the time. Made me wonder why anyone would want to live in Seattle. No, my office is not done because I will be sending one credenza back--too crowded--and then I am hoping to exchange a topper for three credenzas for a topper for 2 credenzas. Drizzly and grey here but not too much rain. I am reading a piece in the New Yorker about the effects of rising sea levels on Miami and Tampa--global warming. The storm drains are backing up and whole streets are flooded regularly. It's only going to get worse apparently and people are now stuck, unable to sell their condos and houses because of persistent flooding.

Valerie, I didn't recommend that show either. I will have to check it out. I think it's free on PBS

I will probably go see Joy this afternoon. Mixed reviews, but I always like JLaw.

I thought Last Tango must have been you, Deb. well, it's very good. DH thought at first it might be too syrupy for him, but we both like it. the first episode was a little much but then it settled down. I think it's Netflix. sorry, I get Netflix and Hulu mixed up. the writer has a good sense of natural flowing dialogue, her female characters especially. the actors are all good. we have subtitles on but it would be fine without. It has funny and serious moments. I don't want to go off on a rant about how bad I think "comedy" is coming out of Hollywood. I feel sure someone on this board recommended it.... thank you .
Watched a western called Homesman with Hillary Swank and Tommy lee Jones. Ugh. it was kind of dismal and unpleasant until something happened with a main character that seemed wrong and completely out of place. I lost interest after that. also watched Ex Machina this week. a sci fi but well done, not one aimed at 12 year olds. I liked it.

We watched The Killing for a season or two and then it disappeared. It rains a lot here but NOT that much. way overkill. when we were watching we giggled about how anyone watching would think we'd all have gills. It's been so long since we saw it, we'd have to start over again. I liked it but the next season was delayed. must be 5 years ago.

Deb, I don't usually wear padded shorts on the indoor cycle or mt biking, but DH does. If it turns out John rides a lot, it's an option. Mt bike shorts have a more forgiving fit. I have to be in the saddle upwards of 2 hours before I want padding.

Good afternoon ladies!

This morning I finally did Cathe Live Icy Bootcamp. Wanted to do it yesterday but ended up focusing on finishing up the cabinets. By the time I finished I just needed to relax. It really is a lot of work. After I was done placing all the doors back on I decided we needed to update all the door pulls. So off to Home Depot I went. Took forever for me to decide but I am very pleased with what I selected. Kitchen is looking so nice. Now I need to decide what to do for a back splash. We are leaning towards tin sheets. We saw them recently and they looked beautiful.

Lynda...I just recently heard of Joy so I am looking forward to your review. Glad you had a nice Christmas. Very sweet your boys bought your gifts when they were there last. Cathe loves jumping jacks. I do them but sometimes there are just too many and they get old rather quickly for me.

Valerie...When I used to ride long distance outside I always wore padded shorts. Never do when I am on the spin bike. I do however have a nice gel seat so this may be why and never ride for more than an hour. Not sure how you and Judy do as long as you do.

Deb...we have been doing Chinese food for quite a few years now. My DH and DS love it and frankly it is so much easier for me so I am good with it. :). We have A Christmas Story on DVD and watch it every Christmas!!! Lol!! I am going to start the Ice/RWH rotation tomorrow. I like it is only a month. I may sub in similar live workouts here and there. Not sure I can go 4 weeks without doing a live workout.

Chester seems to be fine. Doctor decided to leave his ear as is and not drain it. So we will see how this goes.

Hi to Judy and Josie!!!

Hi Everyone,

We got back last night. It was a nice trip, but hectic. I was able to get a short hotel gym workout in early Christmas day, and I went to the gym with DH last night. Today I've been doing an extended housemax session, and I'm still not finished, just taking a break. My SIL and BIL are coming to visit on Tuesday and we just found out on Christmas, while we were out of town. Hopefully back to ICE workouts soon!

Chino was really stressed from being boarded and now he seems to have a cold. He has been sneezing all day. We'll be taking him back to the vet tomorrow if he isn't better.

I watched the last episode of Downton Abbey last night. There is a facebook group that puts out links to all of the episodes right after they air on ITV.

Lori-I always wear padded shorts when riding outside. If I'm doing a long spinerval I'll usually wear padded shorts inside too. Otherwise I'll just wear my regular workout clothes. Nice that you got your Apple Watch!
I'm glad that Chester is ok too.

Lynda-I haven't done Chiseled Lower Body Blast yet. I'm not a big fan of jumping jacks. I'll do one set but if there are lots then I will modify and do something else too.

Deb-we are supposed to be getting freezing rain tomorrow, definitely not looking forward to that. Sounds like there is a winter storm coming this week too.

Hi to Valerie & Josie!

Judy

Morning,

Yesterday I did ICE Bootcamp....my knees are killing me today. I think I am done with any step work. That's all I can figure it is. I had planned on doing the second section of Low Impact Sweat today...the one with the step...maybe I will test it out and see if it is that...I only used 1 riser yesterday... or maybe not....

Lynda, yes, lots of jumping jacks in this ICE series....good thing we have all the modifications down...thanks to KCM...:). I hope it all works out with your exchange of office furniture parts. I tried to see if The Last Tango in Halifax was on PBS....I could get to the previews of season 1, and clips, but no actual episodes. Let me know if you can find them.

Valerie, I think there are now 4 seasons of The Killing....I started season 2 last night. The first season left off with a major cliff hanger, then picked up exactly where it left off in season 2. Yes, the rain is unbelievable...It gets pretty annoying at times. I can't imagine anyone wanting to live there if it rained like it does in this show.
I will keep the padded shorts in mind, in case John starts to complain about his seat hurting...:)

Lori, do glad Chester is o. :). I will be taking Kylee again tomorrow for a re-check for her eyes. I am not sure if they are ok or not, so I want my vet to look at her to be sure. I don't know if I mentioned she had an allergic reaction to the first eye ointment, had to start her on a new one. I bet your kitchen looks great! What did you think of the Bootcamp workout? I really didn't like the one-armed burpies. I just did the modified ones that I do with the Firm step as a base.

Judy, welcome back. I hope Chino is ok today. It seems our pets are having a few issues this fall/winter. Sometimes having company is good for both the social aspect, and for me, the cleaning one LOL...You can also get all the Downton episodes the Monday after they are shown right on the PBS website. They keep them on for quite a while. Are you all caught up so you can start the last season next week?

Josie, how was LV?

Not much going on here....the rain finally stopped, I was going to meet my friend for breakfast, but she called last night...their sewer backed up in the basement...and she will be waiting for a plumber today...fun stuff...ugh....

Take care,

Hi everyone--

This morning I did Bootcamp circuit (44:41). I only did it with one riser and definitely used Amanda's modifications. I guess I like the variety on this one and it did feel intermediate for me, but would have been impossible if I had used all of those risers and did not modify.

Deb, I have not checked on Last Tango in Halifax at the PBS site, but I did notice that Amazon has this series. I'm not sure if it's Prime or not. I watched the final episode of DA from last season last night so I would be ready for the final season, which begins next Sunday I believe.

Yes, it sounds like the pets are having a hard time. I hope poor Chester doesn't have a recurrence of his ear problem and it's nothing serious with Chino. Max is enjoying life without all the snow. He was a joy to watch on Christmas Day running like a little madman through those hayfields. It really is thrilling to see him run like that. He would race back to us intermittently as if to say, "C'mon you guys!"

I found Joy to be very entertaining. Jennifer Lawrence is really the glue pulling this film together, because she is surrounded with characters so broadly drawn and played by actors who are clearly flying high with melodramatic flourishes that the temptation would be to see the film as some kind of lampoon of soap operas. Intermittently we see garish episodes of a soap opera on TV being watched by Joy's mother, who stays in bed all day watching her soaps. The characters looks like they are players from Dynasty or Falcon Crest with the big hair and even bigger shoulder pads. I guess the film is set in the 80s when QVC is started and where Joy gets her start as the inventor of the Miracle Mop. The film could fall into sodden melodrama--the trials and tribulations of Joy struggling to fulfill her impossible ambitions and being foiled again and again--but somehow Jennifer Lawrence makes it feel real. She really is the best thing in the film and David O. Russell is damn lucky to have her in this very messy overdone film. The ending is especially weak, but overall I would give it a B.

Nice outside today but tomorrow sounds like messy mixed precipitation.

we are united on this topic ..... I don't like jumping jacks either. I'll do some but not mass quantities of them. Not going to be thrilled with 1 armed burpees either. I did a short stint on the elliptical and assorted therapy exercises and let it go at that. I stuck in one new disk. watched a few minutes.... chiseled upper body.... the music was so loud I couldn't hear cathe . I looked enough to see there was an option to turn music off but had to stop for a phone call and never got back to it. Is this an issue with the series? I don't think it was my DVD player. I cant control the remote very well from the elliptical and thought maybe I was doing something wrong .

I looked at the Killing series. yes, 4 seasons. I think only 2 are available on netflix though I didn't look at streaming. I remember a little about it, but we'd have to start over. I'm sure at the time it was not clear if the series would be renewed, and by the time it was, too much time had passed for us. sometimes the rain gets tedious , but nothing like depicted there. November December can be pretty wet.

gosh, hope all pets are OK!.

we are going mt biking today rather than xc skiing. will do that Wed if we can.

Hi Ladies,

My DH and I had a lot of fun in Vegas and did very well. My DH hit a straight royal flush the thirst day we got there so our trip was free and we were still up 3 grand. I also came back with $800 for my stash. On the way back we usually stop in Barstow for a pit stop and on my way back to the car I stepped on a small pot hole and twisted my left ankle. Can you believe it!!

I walked all over Vegas in my high heel boots and had no incident, but I step in a pot hole in my flats :(. I've been icing it and lifting it since Saturday. It feels 80% better today. My Peanuts will be here tomorrow and I hope that it heeled by then, because I want to take them to a couple of museums.

Garance, send us pictures of your new office when it is done. Max sounds like he is enjoying the clear weather.

Lori, please let me know which DVD's are your favorites from ICE. I did not want to buy the whole series until a got a review from all of you ladies. Hope that Chester is ok now. We also had Chinese food on Christmas day :).

Valerie and Deb, I only wear padded capri's outdoors. When I spin I just wear my regular workout clothes and I consider it training to toughen my butt for the long ride in June ;).

Judy, poor Chino! Glad that you had a nice vacation.

I will not be working out this week because of the Peanuts, but I know they will keep me busy.

Josie

Good evening ladies!

The plan was to start the ICE/RWH rotation, however, after reviewing closely I realized it had more RWH workouts than the ICE ones. Where these are new workouts I would rather have a rotation with these. I am now doing the ICE Level 1. This way I can add on for variety. I will also only take 1 rest day instead of the 2 planned. I started today with Rock'm Sock'm followed up with SB's Christmas target workout which was only 7 mins so I was done in no time.

Judy...poor kitty. Hoping she is feeling better. I am the same way when I know I will be having company. I am like a crazy person cleaning! Can you recommend a good app for my watch that tracks heart rate and calories? Thought perhaps you would have a favorite.

Deb...hope Kylee's eyes are better. I have not done the ICE Bootcamp. I did her Live one yesterday and loved it. There are one arm burpees but we did them off the step with 2 rises in the Live one. Not sure if it is done this way on the dvd. I actually do like one arm burpees with the step or not.

Valerie...I agree with the jumping jacks. I do them but there were a ton in the kickboxing one. I did like this workout but there are so many other moves that could have been done! I read some complaints about the music being loud. I have not done CUB yet so will let you now my thoughts once I do.

Josie..welcome back! Wow! Great winnings. So sorry about your ankle. Hope it is well soon. I have not done all the workouts yet but so far I love the low impact and the Chiseled lower body. The low impact is suprisingly tougher than I expected. I did the Live Ice Bootcamp so thinking I will like the DVD too.

Lynda...yes! Would love to see your office. I bet you are loving it. Chester did have a reoccurrence but not as bad as before. Enough though for us to be concerned. It was suggested to leave as is but watch closely. We went for a nice walk today and it was sooo cold compared to what it has been. Thanks for your review of Joy.

Back to work tomorrow. My boss is out this week so this will make coming back easier! Been a while since I worked out at 5am. Hoping I do not keep hitting the snooze button!

Lori, I didn't even consider doing CUB, only doing stretches and therapy along with a fast warm up on the elliptical. it sure seemed LOUD. I did see it's an option to shut off music and have only Cathe's voice, so makes me think this may be an issue. Want your opinion after you do it... I'll have more to say when I do the workout.

we went mt biking today, 2.5 hours. a good workout but we don't crank the entire time. only about 40 degrees and misting a bit... but cleared off somewhat by the time we were done. Tried some new ( to us) trails but they were too hard.
Josie, that us amazing. I might as well throw my money in the fireplace. Never even had a "neutral" outcome, just gone, gone, gone. Bummer on the ankle. Hope it's back to normal ASAP.
I will still put Joy on my queue. I like Jlaw and I seem to like things the critics don't care for anyway. We are seeing 4 seasons for the killing on Netflix, but DH agrees, too long, we need to start at disk 1.

Hi Everyone,

Today I did CUB, with Icy Core 2 and some stretching afterwards. I really liked this workout. I used the same weights that they did and it started out feeling easier but by the end I was really feeling it. I also noticed the music being louder than usual but it didn't really bother me.
We've had rain and sleet all day and didn't get out much due to the road conditions. My SIL and BIL got to Des Moines last night and decided to stay an extra day since there was a winter storm warning there for today. They will probably be here some time Wednesday.
Chino was doing better but now he is sneezing and sniffling again. We will probably have to take him back to the vet unfortunately :( Will be calling them in the morning to make an appointment.

Deb-I agree, for me, having company is a good incentive to clean everything. I really need to get on a better cleaning schedule though, I let things go a little too long this time and really paid for it yesterday. I am all caught up with Downton. I hate to see it end, I hope they consider doing a movie or a sequel later on. It's really sad too that Michelle Dockery's fiance died a couple of weeks ago. He was only 34. :(

Lynda-Joy sounds like a movie I would like, thanks for the review! I would love to see photos of your office too!

Josie-I'm sorry about your ankle :( I hope it heals quickly. Have fun with the Peanuts! Way to go in Vegas!

Lori-That sounds like a great plan to do ICE level one and add on. I might do that too, instead of starting with level 2. I was definitely cleaning like a crazy person yesterday. I had a 5 hour energy and was up until 2 in the morning. I've been using the activity app that comes with the Apple Watch for most of my workouts. It seems to be pretty accurate. The other workout app I installed is "Under Armor Record", which also works well.
https://record.underarmour.com/
You'll have to let us know how you like the watch. I find that the longer I have it, the more I like it. I would be lost without my iPhone and my Apple Watch. :)

Valerie-Great job on the bike ride! 2.5 hours of mountain biking is awesome!

Good morning,

Yesterday I did the second part of Low Impact Sweat...I liked it a lot. I thought the step part may make me skip that, but it is mostly used for cardio moves, not really step moves. Freezing rain after a little bit of snow last night....not good at all. I hope it warms up before I have to drive to the vet this morning...which is a lot farther than it used to be.

Lynda, the Halifax show is not available in Prime...I am really enjoying The Killing. Seasons 1 & 2 are available in Prime, then my library has seasons 3 & 4 for lending. I bet Max will even like the snow when it comes as long as he can run through it. :). I tried to watch the last episode of season 5 of Downton...it kept freezing at the 8:56 marker, I watched it 3 times and after the 3rd freeze up, I quit. This was on the iPad on PBS....strange.

Valerie, great ride! I just did regular burpies, and used my 14 inch Firm Step up Box instead of going to the floor. The High Step would work just as well. I think there is a "music off" option on these DVD's or maybe I am thinking of another set. Oh, I see you have already discovered it. You can use your own music then. Let me know if you start The Killing over again....

Josie, your trip sounds great and congratulations on the winnings! I hope your ankle is ok. Especially since your Peanuts will be there and they will be looking forward to going places with you. :).

Lori, I am also doing the ICE level 1 rotation but I started with week 4 because I didn't want to start with the Kickbox one. :). I hope you were able to get up at 5 am today for your workout...it's tough when you haven't done it for a while. Would love to see pics of your renovated kitchen. A tin backsplash sounds interesting. I have never seen one.

Judy, I hope Chino is ok....funny, both of us going to the vet this morning....I had not heard about Michelle Dockery's fiancé....that's sad.

With the vet appointment this morning, I may have to take the long way and avoid the thruway....that could take me an hour to get there...:(.

Take care,

Good morning. I'm off to PT shortly. The ride yesterday was a decent workout. DH is definitely stronger on uphills than I am, even with a new bike. I get to a certain pitch and will fall over if I try to keep going, so I get off as soon when it's inevitable. somewhat due to lack of traction too. Not really that much of a "cheat" since you have to push the bike uphill one way or the other! the hydraulic assist brakes makes me a little more comfortable on steeper downhills. they are much more responsive, and don't make my hands feel like they'll cramp. we are trying to expand our ride by trying some new trails but the one we added on yesterday was too steep. I ended up walking half of it. DH too. pushing the bike still qualifies as a workout, but it's not fun like riding it.

I did see that piece about michelle dockery's fiancé dying. strange and sad for her. similar to her role in DA.

Judy, hope chino is better today. Hope shadow doesn't catch whatever it is.
so we're watching 3 series at once, mixing them up. Last Tango. Happy Valley ..another British one by the same writer. it is also very good, features the same actress as in Last Tango, Sarah Lancashire. then a Netflix original called Bloodline based in the Florida Keys. seems OK but a lot of flashbacks, everyone drinks too much and screws around too much. at least they let the people look like they really do in the humidity there. more later.

Hi everyone--

This morning I did both low impact sweat cards (46:13). I really like these and think they are easier than the two low impact hiits from RWH.

My office is not finished and I don't know how to post photos anyway. I have to return one credenza and exchange a top for three credenzas for one that will fit two credenzas. The professional organizer didn't account for how everything would fit with the rest of the furniture. The rug would have to be moved, the 48 inch tv would be in our faces unless we moved the furniture back, but then closet doors would not be able to open. Very frustrating! I can begin using my new college office next week, but I thought my home office would be put together by now.

Josie, you are so lucky in Vegas! I would probably lose, but I doubt I will ever go to Vegas. It is ironic that you were fine in heels in Vegas and then sprain your ankle in flats in a pothole. I guess the saying is true about whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, including your talent for walking in high heels.

Deb, I watched The Killing when it was on TV and agree that it was a very good series. The roads look a bit treacherous here as well, but it's supposed to get better this afternoon. Hope Kylee's eye clears up.

Valerie, I have not had any issues with loudness with CUB, but I will do it again tomorrow and see if I notice. I remember feeling sore the next day in my hips, but I think it may be due to the bicycle work in the premix with the core.

Judy, I think your weather is what we are getting here now.

Good evening ladies!

Deb...no workout today. Lol! The alarm went off and I snoozed for a bit, but not long. Then I remembered the crappy weather we were going to have in the morning so I decided to not workout and just get ready for work and leave early. Glad I did because it took me twice as long to get in this morning. Then coming home was slow going too so today will be my rest day for the week. Glad you liked Low Impact 2. I loved it also. Had such a kick to it that I was not expecting. Lol! With starting with wk 4!

Judy...thanks for the heads up with the activity app. I was not sure if I should use a different app. I like that this app does not have all the crazy additional bells and whistles. It is simple and gives just what you need. All I care about is time, calories and heart rate. Perhaps distance too depending on the activity. It will take me a bit to get used to the watch. I like that I was able to accept a call when I was a distance from my phone. Glad I chose level one. This way I can incorporate SB Barre and Cathe Live. I might start SB's newest challenge in addition to Ice when she publishes it next week. I have done a couple of her challenges and have enjoyed them.

Lynda....horrible drive into work today. So glad I have snow tires. Hmmmm...I would have thought the professional organizer would have planned for all those measurements. I can see how you would be fustrated. Funny your comment about what stays in Vegas.

Josie...I have yet to send out the zumba dvd's. I will do so some time this week now that I am back at work. Hope your ankle is feeling better!

Valerie...yes pushing a bike up hill certainly qualifies for a workout in my book! How is PT going?

Morning,

Yesterday I did the Metabolic Total Body workout, but shortened it. About 32 minutes. We did get freezing rain, but a lot of slushy wet stuff on the streets, then it warmed up and was all rain. I took the streets to the vet, it was doable...I did take the thruway home. By that time it was all rain and clear. He is opening a new location in March, a little closer to here, thank goodness. Kylee's eyes are back to normal...he said just to keep putting in the saline solution twice a day for about 5 more days.

Judy, how is Chino doing? did you get into the vet yesterday? Dogs can get something called Kennel cough...do cats get that? I can't see it with yours, since they are not around other cats....are they inside all the time?

Lynda, I did watch the last episode of Downton...had to use the laptop and it worked fine. Not sure what was up with the iPad and PBS...I forgot how much was in that last episode and glad you mentioned watching it over. When your office is finished, email pics and I will post here...Doc Martin Series 7 is available on some streaming....not Prime though...:(. My old boss emailed me to let me know....he knows how much I like that series. My library has the DVD';s so I requested them.

Valerie, will look at that other series (Bloodline) and see if it's on Prime....the regulars I watch all start back next week... so many shows, so little time! LOL.

Lori, good for you for taking a rest day....your body will thank you! :). I too, am also really liking this new series....the variety is amazing. Cathy outdid herself. It sounds like you are having fun with your watch. That's great!

Josie, hope the ankle is better!

I am meeting a friend from work today for lunch...I think Low Impact Sweat is on the calendar for today....

Take care,

Hi everyone--

This morning I did CUB (41:44). No problems with loudness. I still hate those bear crawls and find it so strange that I have no trouble with the side-leaning windmills on the left side going down, but on my right side I can barely get down to my knee, and then there is a funny twinge in my left hip. Some kind of strange imbalance.

Deb, I will probably watch Doc Martin when it starts up on TV. I am tempted to just buy the final season and binge watch. I don't think Bloodline would be available on Prime because it's a Netflix original series. Glad that Kylee's eye has cleared up. I will send you pics of my office when it is finished.

We went to see The Force Awakens yesterday. Definitely renewed my love of Star Wars for the first three films. I totally lost interest in the prequels and didn't go to see the last one at all. I really can't say too much about the film without spoiling it, but I loved the new characters and the new little robot. Most of all, I adore Han Solo and Chewbacca. Harrison Ford is wonderful in this. Lots of funny dialogue which reminded me of what a rogue Solo was.

Lori, we have been so spoiled with the weather that yesterday seemed like hell had arrived. It's still drizzly today and yesterday was slippery and freezing with that wind. I can't blame you a bit for sleeping in.

Judy, I agree on CUB. I especially feel it in my triceps after those final moves on the mat. Hope Chino is feeling better.

Hi to Valerie and Josie!

Good evening ladies!

This morning I also did CUB. I did go heavier than Cathe for most of the exercises. There were only a couple I kept the same one of them was those dreaded windmills! The other was the overhead extensions. Everything else I felt comfortable increasing.

I am with you Lynda with the bear crawls. I am ok with the first 4 but could go without the second set. I did them all of course but did not like it. And same thing with the windmills...I go down the left leg fine with right up up. No problems. But to go down on the right and have my left arm up is very uncomfortable for my left shoulder. So for this side I did the modification Cathe suggested. This is the shoulder that always bugs me so do not want to push things. Yes we certainly were spoiled with the weather.

Valerie...All in all I really liked this workout. I think it is intermediate but you can easily up the intensity when you want too by going heavier. I did not notice the music being too loud. I know some have complained. Perhaps there is a glitch with some dvd's?

Judy...I used my apple watch all day today and loved it. When I worked out I used the installed activity app and liked it. Thanks for suggesting using it. It is very basic which is exactly what I wanted? Several times today my boss called me and had I not been wearing the watch I would have missed the call. (Well maybe missing his call would have been ok too. Lol!)

Deb...I agree I love the variety in these workouts. And coming from me that is huge since I get bored so easily! I have not done the Metabolic one yet. I think it is scheduled for tomorrow and I am looking forward to it. Glad Kylee's eyes are ok.

Hi to Josie...hoping your ankle is better!
