Traildoggie
Cathlete
She thought they came "already trained"? Please tell me she doesn't plan on having children......
That's a darling little dog. probably won't be hard to find a home for it. obedience training should be required for all dogs but if the owners aren't trained too, it won't help. My aunt got a well trained adult dog but she never was "trained" and in a yr it became obnoxious unruly, and I didn't feel bad when he got hit by a car. he unfortunately lived to be obnoxious and unruly for a couple more years. I'm a cat person myself. Love dogs but we go too many places dogs can't go, and kennel bills used to get outrageous. If he's not destined to get BIG ( doesn't look like it) she can probably sell him for at least part of what she paid.
Read an interesting explanation about why driving conditions get so bad so fast here that makes sense.
The ground is usually warm, we hadn't gotten near freezing at all. so when a cold air mass moves in, the first snow melts, so we always have an ice/slush layer that adheres and hangs around making plowing and ice not too helpful. it's still a mess out there on all the secondary roads. freeways pretty good now. things worked better this time, we got mail and papers but expected packages are not here. We ( the neighborhood) have road plowing service this year but due to the above reason, it does not usually scrape well and leaves the layer of ice.
My pie is in the oven and then I'm done! just some driving tomorrow but not an epic or anything, just 30 miles on big busy roads.
I haven't gotten my new workout disks yet so no comment. I hope they play on my DVD. it's not new but has worked with everything so far. we've had issues with music DVD's that played fine in a toyota truck, but when we got our new Ford, the player spit them right out. don't know why, it was a home compilation of songs so not a factory made disk.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope everyone has a not-too-stressful holiday.
