Yesterday I did a 15 minute Peloton ride before work and a 15 minute ride with 10 minutes of arms after work. Today was a rest day.

Carolyn-Great job with P30 Perfect Pump Upper Body and the ICE Rock’m Sock’m Timesaver premix.

Valerie-Nice job with the ride. That sounds like quite a workout getting the bike with the flat tire back. I can start the thread on Sunday.

Diane Sue-Nice job with CDorner Calorie Burning Step and KCM Power Splits Lower Body. I really like the Power Splits workouts.

Got back just before 6 yesterday. We ended up leaving a bit earlier than originally planned Thursday as his GF said construction added 30 minutes to her drive and he had a check in time. Turned out on the drive up they weren't doing much of anything in the construction zones and what slowed us down a bit was rain and getting stuck behind slow traffic in the UP. Most all of the drive up there is on two lane roads with the occasional passing lane, and very few places to pass in between. Then arrived to find out that they must have either allowed a ton of people to schedule at the same time, or parents were staying hours and taking up parking places. He went to see about a box cart and while he was waiting for one, I took him a couple bags, so when he got a cart we loaded it with all the rest of the stuff and I said see you later. LOL When he originally went in 2020 parents couldn't go in dorms, so he's always done his own thing anyway and I would just have been in the way. I picked him up later and we got pasta and ate in my room. We had planned to go hiking, but the weather was just not good for it. Said our goodbyes. Next morning was absolutely gorgeous and I was so sad that I had to head home and miss out. I was up in time to go walk along the bay at sunrise and got some great pics! Then I hung out and headed out about 10:30 as I wanted to get a Smoothie for lunch to take with me, and they didn't open till 10. Found out soon after I was there that Derek and Aliah had gone within minutes of me because the dining hall didn't open early enough for breakfast that day. The Smoothie King there is owned by the college and they can use their dining money. If I'd known they were doing that I'd have had Derek get mine, since I paid for his dining dollars and he never uses all of them! Drive home at least had good weather, but I got stuck behind more slow traffic and bonus they were working in the construction zones, so a couple long stretches of stop and go when they had lanes shut down.

This morning I was doing my Finished Combo workout when it locked up on me. Could not getting it going again and it wasn't the wifi because other stuff was opening right up. So that ended after 25 minutes. I'm going to fill in my new rotation on my calendar today as I start it tomorrow. In the future I'll make sure my laptop is with me, so I can at least try and get it going on that, but I didn't feel like running upstairs to retrieve it.

Valerie that's really too bad about your neighbors tire going flat. Sounds like you all made the best of it. Hopefully she gets a new bike, proper fitting is so key. If I ever get another one, it pretty much has to be a kids bike, because I've never found an adult bike that wasn't too big for my seemingly non existent legs.

Hi to all! Still trying to catch up around here. DH was working both days I was gone, so creating messes more than taking care of them.

we rode again this morning, our close-by standard ride. about 2 hours. the road has washed out undermined areas so it didn't open to vehicles. that makes the riding nicer. its a narrow dirt gravel road that goes nowhere really. an old cabin at the trail end that isnt used much. used to belong to a hollywood movie director. maintained by current property owner. no pressure on forest service to fix the road except for a few hunters that use it. and with all the early season flooding near here, its probably going to stay closed this year. its a great ride for us and involves about a 15 min drive. of a few miles.

we are trying to get our neighbor "into" mt biking so were hoping for a good ride for the first one. the bike and tires are a few years old and she had a flat before so we think the tube is getting pinched. regardless, too small for her. (Cathy it might fit you!) every company proportions their frames differently, and its very complicated understanding all the distances/angles. I'm a Trek fan. we are hoping she will trade it in for a bigger bike. my mt bikes were not expensive.
forgot to mention on our non riding day I did stacked upper body.

bummer on the drive cathy. never can be sure when road construction will be ongoing, waiting for some reason. there are a lot of kids seriously mt biking these days so it might not be too difficult to find a kids bike thats built well and not a toy.

This morning I did JS Build Balance and Inner Strength Core Control. This was a fusion style workout with low impact cardio and standing pilates. That was 32 minutes with 144 calories burned. My average heart rate was 114 and maximum heart rate was 136. It’s a lower intensity workout but my core is really feeling the effects now.

Cathy, I’m glad that you made it home and the delays weren’t too bad. Getting kids back to college is always an adventure. It sounds like you and Derek have figured out how to do it.

Hello to Judy, Diane Sue, and Valerie.
