Pentagenarians & Beyond: March 8, 2026

Today I did LMR2 Elevated Upper Body. I think those army planks are the hardest planks for me. I can do it, but barely make it through.

Judy I'm glad to hear that never developed further than a funnel cloud. I was watching a video today on the tornado in Union City and it changed from a much less destructive size tornado to that big mass in 90 seconds! That's crazy. I'm seeing the preliminary call is that it was an EF3. We'll see if the change it. That size is rare here, though the one in Gaylord a few years ago was also an EF3.

I forget if I posted yesterday but I did a 30 minute hike in our yard aalong with therapy. today we mountain biked the neighborhood. it was so wet this morning we could not do the intended walk. DH cant lift anything heavy yet and ittakes two of us to lift the mt bikes into the back of the truck so no way can I do it alone.

i could not stand thinking about tornadoes half the year, glad I moved away. scary scary!!

Today I did a 45- minute Peloton Ride and LMR Functional Core Fusion.

Cathy-Great job with LMR2 Elevated Upper Body. That tornado in Union City was really scary.
I'm looking at the extended forecast and it looks like we may get a couple of inches of snow next weekend.

Valerie-Great job with your 30 minute hike, therapy work and bike ride.

Hi to Carolyn and Diane Sue

Today I decided to try one of the new workouts. I did LMR2 Elevated PHA Cardio Fusion. That was 36 minutes, 104 average heart rate, and maximum heart rate 125. I will probably do it again in the future. Yesterday I did Jane Adams Gentle Yoga.

Cathy, great job with LMR2 Elevated Upper Body. That’s one that I won’t be doing anytime soon.

Valerie, nice job with hiking in your yard, therapy, and mountain biking in your neighborhood.

Judy, great job with your Peloton ride and LMR Functional Core Fusion.

Hello to Diane Sue.

Didn't sleep well the last two nights. Yesterday I didn't do anything and this morning I just did the Killer Barre Bonus. My Cathe order is ready for shipping. Most of it is stuff I'll save for when the ones I have wear out, so a delay is okay.

Judy our forecast isn't showing anything but flurries this weekend, but it's far enough away to change still. Sadly, with the shift in tornado alley we are likely to get more tornadoes than we have been.

This morning I did JS 15 Minute Calorie Burst, 15 minutes, 122 calories, 138 average heart rate, and 165 maximum heart rate. I just wanted to start the day with some type of exercise since I had an early dental appointment and another appointment after that.

Cathy, nice job with Killer Legs Barre Bonus. It’s good that you were able to take advantage of Cathe’s clearance sale.

Hello to Judy, Valerie, and Diane Sue.

we did a park walk this morning. 75 minutes . yesterday shopping and truck service. only had time for therapy twice. got cold and wet and actually snowed last night, close to an inch. i cant remember any more snow this winter but maybe im forgetting. made things messy but nothing worrisome.

Today I did KCM’s Cardio Quick Fix, workout two. That was 29 minutes, 165 calories burned, average heart rate 116, and maximum heart rate 142.

Valerie, good job with the park walk and getting some therapy exercises done.

Cathy, good job with Live Kick Punch Cardio Party and STS 2 Mobility 2.

Hello to Judy and Diane Sue.

Monday I did a 45-minute Power Zone Endurance Ride. Yesterday I did ICE Muscle Meltdown Triceps and Icy Core 1 & 2. Today was a rest day.

Carolyn-Great job with Jane Adams Gentle Yoga, LMR2 Elevated PHA Cardio Fusion, JS 15 Minute Calorie Burst and KCM’s Cardio Quick Fix, workout two.

Cathy-Great job with Killer Barre Bonus, Live Kick Punch Cardio Party and STS2 Mobility 2. I’m sorry about the sleep. I was up a lot last night due to the weather and possibility of a tornado overnight. Fortunately we didn’t get as bad of a storm as was predicted.

Valerie-Great job with your park walk and therapy work.

Hi to Diane Sue

I did therapy twice yesterday but not much else.

weather got very stormy and we expected a power out but it didnt happen. all the rain and then wind can knock down trees left and right. very specific areas got hit hard but mostly at higher elevations not along the water. hope all of you are out of the tornado zone for a while. it seems awfully early this year for this to be an issue but weather patterns are changing for all of us in unpredictable ways. there's always variations. this seems weird. we are finally getting a ton of snow in the mountains, like 3-5 feet but this is not making up for the lack of snow for much of the season. interstate was closed for about 40 miles much of the night due to avalanche risk and falling trees, blowing snow and blizzard conditions.

I didn’t have time to workout this morning. I had another early appointment. This one was military related, more things that I didn’t know that I had to do.

Judy, great job with the 45 minute Power Zone Endurance ride, ICE Muscle Meltdown Triceps and Icy Core 1&2.

Valerie, good job with your therapy exercises. Our winter weather has returned today. Yesterday it was 83 degrees and we had stormy weather overnight. Now it’s very windy and the temperature has been dropping since mid morning. I was surprised at how cold it felt when I was out for my appointments.

Hello to Cathy and Diane Sue.

Today I did a 60-minute Power Zone Ride and a 20-minute stretch. I had my annual mammogram this morning. I got the results this afternoon and it was good.

Valerie-Nice job with your therapy work. I’m glad you didn’t lose power. We have a high wind warning all day and night tomorrow so it will be a miracle if we don’t lose power.

Carolyn-It looks like we are all dealing with more wind and winter weather this week. I hope it doesn’t get too bad there.

Today I did KCM’s Power Splits Upper Body, 33 minutes, 138 calories burned, average heart rate 109, and maximum heart rate 160.

Judy, great job with the Power Zone ride and stretch. That’s good news about your mammogram.

Hello to Valerie, Cathy, and Diane Sue.

the "all ok" on the mamm is always such a relief.

i did a 15 min spin as a warm up and then did stacked upper body. and therapy 2x. it snowed again today but it was below 35 all day so just sloppy and messy and mixed with rain. it ca go back to spring anytime now.

Today I did LMR Lower Body. My time was 47 minutes with 187 calories burned, average heart rate 102, and maximum heart rate 130. I omitted the floor work and step ups.

Have a great day everyone.

Thursday, I did CDorner Kickboxing Cardio 38 minutes, 256 calories and Senior Shape Standing Abs (osteoporosis friendly) with Standing Mobility Stretch, 20 minutes, 53 calories. Today I did Senior SHape Dance Cardio and Upper Weights and stretch, 39 minutes, 226 calories, heart rate 125/156. No workout today. I am getting a lot more steps in a day when outside with my dog climbing up and down the hill and rocks in back. It will take a while to adjust with family activities. My dog hates his crate right now. He used to climb right in before we went out of the house and recognize when we had to leave. So, there are adjustments. The dog spotted a squirrel running out into the woods and fortunately came back after I called him twice.

Valerie, I have my mammogram in April. That is good that everything is okay. Good job on the spin warm up, Stacked Sets Upper Body and therapy 2 times.

Carolyn, nice work on LMR Lower Body.

Judy, good job on Muscle Meltdowns Chest & Shoulders and Icy Core 1.
