Pentagenarians & Beyond: February 1, 2026

Was surprised and happy last night to see that the new workouts were already OnDemand. I've never had that happen before my DVD's arrive. So this morning I did the Hiit Fusion workout which is really good, and then I did the Balance Fusion. I love that workout! It's all standing and there's definitely room for improvement. I like it a lot better than the LMR one. Got more snow today, but we're supposed to get over 30! Heatwave, but very temporary as it's getting colder tonight and will be cold again the next couple days.

Valerie Derek's temps got into the mid-50's yesterday.He said he enjoyed it, but it left things a muddy mess. I bought my Dad a small container of shelf stable plant milk that expires this month, and I'll probably bring it home and we'll use it this week, because I can't convince him that'll it be good awhile longer.

Thursday I did 30 minutes of Peloton Upper Body strength & core. Yesterday I did a 45 minute treadmill walk and 40 minutes of stretching and yoga. Today I did a 30 minute Peloton Tempo ride with a 10 minute cool down.

Cathy-Great job with the LMR2 workouts. I've been previewing them and they all look good. I think I'll try the PHA one tomorrow.

Hugs to you Carolyn. hoping you have good family support during this very difficult time.

yesterday we did a park walk that started out rough because of a wreck that happened a short time before, closing the only road. its on an island so there are not many alternatives. DH acts as if we drive off the main road we will drive off the edge of the earth where there be dragons. i got us there without too much fuss. i am much better with the map apps. some of that is being able to see the small print without fussing with glasses . brisk walking an hour 20 minutes. therapy x 2 later.today the usual therapy x2 and then stacked upper body.
