Morning all ,

It's Sunday... I am sitting with coffee, trying to get my butt downstairs to do STS chest & back, The final weekl. I have to adjust and print out my workout sheets for the week, which I usually have done by now.
I will miss STS. Especialy Meso 2 & 3.

So the Body World thing was pretty interesting. I never knew your liver was that big!

Hope to get the workout in before meeting my uncle for breakfast..he is up here from Florida.

Good evening,

Of course I did my wo late last night. It was Cardio Hits, Power Max. I'm not sure that anyone but Cathe should wear white shorts. I also did 2miles with Leslie. I have to ask Garance what dvd you can turn off the talking. That's the only thing I hate about dvd is her constant chatter.

No wo today, it's my rest day. I may do some exercises in the pool.

It's Monday, ugh!

Good Morning!

I just finished a 35 minute I-Tread, burned 280 calories. It felt good, although those dead lifts in STS do a number on my back. I think if I do any more of the STS workouts, I will find a substitute for those.

Joan, I wish I could remember the one that Garance mentions that you can turn off...I think it may be a 4 mile one...You can go over to Collagevideo.com...they may have that in the description of the workout as one of the "features". Pool exercise sounds great right now.

Cathy, Meso 2 was my favorite of all the 3 STS cycles.

Josie, what are you up to this week?

Happy Monday Ladies,

First thing this morning, I fell. My DH spilled some oily car cleaner on our den floor and I told hime to mop it with pine sol or something to take the oil out. Well, he cleaned it with water only and I paid for it this morning. I have a few scratches and I now that tomorrow I will be sore somewhere. This weekend I did my usual spinning both days and my Kevin wo.

It was very hot here in LA this weekend and it will continue for a couple of days. It was 104 in San Bernardino where my DM lives. I live near the beach, but it was still in the 80's.

I might go spinning today, since I have a concert to go on Wednesday. I will be going to the Hollywood Bowl to see Bonny James. We will be taking a picnic basket with us and my friend Claudia and her DH are joining us. I love going to the Hollywood Bowl, you can see the stars and it is cool and romantic.

Josie Sorry about the fall. The concert and picnic sound like fun. I hope you're not too sore to enjoy it.

Our weather has been great the last few days. A lot cooler than normal. We finally got 2 raspberry and 1 blueberry bush planted. I bought them 2 months ago. Dh weeded all the flower beds. The next 3 days we're supposed to have rain.

Deb I saw your post just before I went to bed. I ended up doing 2 miles with Leslie.

ok, don't know what i was thinking today. i did cardio fusion in its entirety and i thought , "oh, it is on like 70m or a bit more" how hard could it be??????? well, i have one thing to say! ooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i don't think i'm gonna be able to walk tomorrow. apparantly, i have never done the whole thing. the 2nd segment of body max 2 is VERY HARD. i actually had to stop a couple times and suck in air. now, tell me that is not HIIT training! surely it is. you go til you can't breathe and then recover, right? well, i could not breath. what a tough workout. my feet are killing me. think i'm too old for that one.:)


joan, i LOVE raspberries. we can't grow them down here.:(

Good evening all,

Cathy I have apple trees, a cherry tree (birds always get them) and grapes. I hope we have good luck with raspberries. One of the bushes is a yellow raspberry. I have had them and they taste the same but aren't really that pretty. Kind of pale. They only had one bush of each so that's what we got.

I just finished disc 28. I had to get out the 20lb dumbells.:D

Good Morning all,

I did an I-Tread this morning, only burned 250 calories. I was not going very fast today. I can't wait until tomorrow. I am off and taking Kelsey to get her leg out of the sling..it's been a long 4 weeks.

Josie sorry to hear about your fall, I hope all is ok. That outing at the Hollywood Bowl sounds like fun!

Joan, I would love to have some type of berry bush, I have had strawberries in the past but they take up too much room. WTG on having to use the 20 lb dumbells! What excercise did you use them for?

Cathy, I give you a lot of credit for being able to do those workouts, I could never get through them so I sold all of them on Ebay.

Hi Ladies,

I feel fine today. I thought that I would be sore from the fall, but the only thing that is a bit sore is my left knee. I iced it when I got home. I did not go spinning, I decided to stay home and rest my beaten body. Today is my kevin wo and cardio. I'm down another pound I weigh 164 pounds.

I wish I had some fruit treets Does anyone have a guava tree? I love this fruit.

Deb, I use 20lb on chest flys and one arm rows. I hope Kelsey is ok.

Josie, Yea on 164, I'm glad you have found something that works.

Good mornng all,

Bad night's sleep, so I did not get up to exercise, also I am off the rest of the week, so hopefully I will get my STS workout in sometime today. Today is the vet appointment where we will hopefully get Kelsey out of the sling and things back to normal.. I can't wait to give her a bath. Poor thing has not been able to get wet at all, and she, for lack of a better term, stinks!

Josie, glad the fall was not that bad, and WTG on the weight loss! :D

Joan, yep those 20 pound DB's are good, Do you have a way to increase after that? I love the weighted gloves for that reason, you can go up 1/2 pound, then a pound. I am at 21 for chest flies in STS. Did you figure out which Leslie you can turn the shreiking off with? :eek:

hi ya'll, i feel better today. did disc 14 and cardio portion on LIS (4-day split). can't figure out why i can feel so horribly bad one day , and then the next day i am great.
not sure what i 'm doing tomorrow.maybe i'll go ahead and do disc 15. gonna ride horses tomorrow evening, so don't wanna wear my legs out. :)

Good evening all,

I almost went out and bought 25lb dumbbells today. That might be a little premature. I do have pace weights and can add 1/2lb at a time. I don't think I could have done STS without them. I went from 15 to 16 to 17 to 18 to 19 before I could do 20. Some exercises I have jumped 2 lbs in a week but I'm not sure I could have jumped 5lbs.

I just did 2 miles on treadmill and that is double the steps as Leslie's 2 mile. I have several of her dvd's and vhs and can't shut her up on any of them. I probably wouldn't buy anymore.

I still need to do disc 29 legs so bbl.

Hi,

Off work today, so no early workout. I didn't do anything yesterday, so now I am feeling like a slug....:rolleyes:

Cathy, not sure what would make you feel good one day and bad the next unless you have sinus, allergies or things that are affected by the weather etc.

Josie, glad you are ok...how was the concert?

Joan, yes, pace weights are good, I have Platemates too, and the gloves..one pound increments make a huge difference. I also had 2 sets of old fashioned weights that have the iron plates and bars that I use for 25 pound db. I was going to give these sets away a while ago and I am sure glad I didn't. They came in real handy with STS.

Hi Ladies,

Today is my Kevin wo plus cardio 30 minutes. The concert was great, I love the Hollywood Bowl it is out in the open and you can see the stars and we had a nice breeze.

I did eat and had a couple of glasses of wine not approved on my diet, but too bad!
It was worth it.

Hi all,

I too, have no motivation today..or for the last 2 days either. I am much better when I am working, if you can believe that! :confused:

I went to breakfast with a friend and just got home. We were in the restaurant for 4 1/2 hours! :eek:...lots of coffee...
