OK, I'm back. Houdini has now retired for the evening and I'm pooped. She was WILD today! That crash during my first post--well, she likes flipping my step over, putting it up on three risers so it's slanted, and climbs it as a slide. (Hey, she's already stepping, LOL!) So that was her wanting the step in slide position. But when I left for lunch, DH said she screamed and threw a 45 minute long fit...then, when I came home, she was into everything all day long...I'm ready for a heating pad, my book (reading The Other Boleyn Girl right now) and more Thanksgiving Food TV! I'm glad DH is out tonight--I want ME ME ME time!
Karin--Ha, I hate yardwork, too. Wish I loved being in the dirt, wish I loved nutruing plants, but I *hate hate hate* it. I'd rather be in the kitchen! Speaking of which, did you see anything you wanted to try on Food TV today? I loved Ina's turkey breast idea, but if I don't make the maple-mustard glazed turkey breast, there will be a revolt in my house. (Funny thing is, that is a Richard Simmons Farewell to Fat Cookbook creation. It's so easy, healthy, and much to my shock, everyone wants it year after year.) Are you staying in Colorado or headed home for the holidays?
Dani--I'm only domestic in the kitchen. Avery has an empty scrapbook and all her photos shoved, out of order, in a shoebox (unlike everyone else in my mommy group. I am the sole scrapbook revolter.) I can't sew or do any kind of a craft to save my life, so we all have our gifts!
Catherine--So what did you eat at Cheescake Factory? I like their salads, but man, it's like salad for a week, with those big portions!
OK, time to wash my face, snuggle in, and enjoy more Thanksgiving TV. Have a great night!!
