Good Morning!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed their extra hour of sleep!!! My boys were still up at 5 so it didn't really matter here, but I am off to pick a Cathe DVD and just get it done!!! I have an extra hour, might as well use it wisely. And I REALLY need to get back on track. TODAY!!! Before I'm fighting this all winter.

My eating has been disgusting and my w/o less than enthusiastic. I keep doing the "I'll start tomorrow" thing. Well, it's tomorrow. Could really use my PEEPS support here. :D:D:D

Whoa...you guys have way more energy than I do today:eek: I was thinking yogaX since I have cardio on schedule for tomorrow.

Yesterday was my cheat day and had pizza, a couple beers, some m&m's & licorice:confused: I feel like crap this morning....OH why don't I ever learn!

I slept in for that extra hour and ready to start my day here in a few minutes.

I saw somewhere that you got Lauren's dvd how do you like it? That workout really gets my HR up and I now enjoy mountain climbers with how she explains how to do them.

Vilma, I actually like doing MC the way Lauren does them. I always disliked them before. I really like Lauren. Even her 12 min w/o packs a punch!!
 
Forgot to say w/o is done. Also did GSL stability ball leg work afterwards along with some progressive work that Katie has me working on.

I may throw in Lauren's 12 min w/o later :eek:
 
I am freaking starving!! I want to eat anything not nailed down:eek: I had my routine breakfast of oatmeal and walnuts. Then had a post w/o shake with a banana, blueberries, skim milk and pp. Snacked on some chips :eek::confused: Ate a salad and a Kashi chicken pasta pomadora and I am STILL hungry:mad:
 
I DID IT!!!

I did Drill Max. And once I got started I felt much better. :D:D:D
I ate my oatmeal and tablespoon of PB, drank my 3 glasses of water and got a nice hot shower. Now I'm pooped. And hungry. :eek::eek:
I snuck 2 more cups of coffee and even that didn't help. But, I am doing it.
I have to get on the scale in the am to see how far I need to go. I'm askeered. :eek::eek::eek:

Catherine, do not say hungry again. I am trying to keep my grubby little hands out of the candy and the cabinets (and the fridge and the pantry)
I have had this feeling for 2 weeks now. That's when I really lost control.
I'm the self-appointed moderator for today and you are forbidden to say one more word about food or I swear I'll eat every mimi bag of M&m's I have in this house!!!!

Vilma- I may jump on the KB wagon soon. I am getting a little bored. Maybe I need to add something totally different!!! I didn't order STS because I was too afraid that it was too advanced for me. So without a new Cathe w/o I'm finding myself dreading a little more!!

JJ- your cheat day sounds like my whole month of October!!! That's why I am starting anew in November. MMMmmmm licorice. Sounds good :D
Got any beer left over??? Can I come over???

LOL Catherine!! I get that way when I lift too;) I finished YogaX and must concur with you....it is hard! But I feel so good when its over.

Vilma~ I just ordered the dvd and haven't received it yet. I posted to you on the CC forum about this dvd. I kept seeing it referred to as her "On the Edge" dvd but when I searched for it, I found it was called something else (Body Sculpt & Conditioning with KB's) yet the descriptions were the same. I am assuming they are the same dvd.....let me know if I'm wrong:confused:

Hey Peeps!

very lazy today so far. felt crappy yesterday as I think all the traveling caught up with me, but feeling better today. thinking about jumping into the shower and getting a bite to eat, then go to Home Depot for some yard tools as we fired our groundskeeper last month...

We managed to get through Halloween unscathed! no kids, because we turned out all the lights and stayed in the back bedroom and watched movies! When we lived in Washington state we lived on a block that was the center of attention every Halloween. They would block off the entire block at each end, all the houses decorated to the hilt, and the whole county would come to our street to trick-r-treat! it was a madhouse, literally! I think the last year we were there (2 years ago) we had over 500 kids! It was fun the first year, but less fun the following only because we don't have kids... anyway, I was glad to forego the whole ordeal this year...

JJ, Catherine, Ellie: good job on the workouts already done for the day! Vilma, I'm sure that you will have your w/o done before I do, so ^5's to everyone!

Everyone seems to be "digestively challenged" today! (Ellie - I did NOT say it!) Me included! I think I'm trying to make up for yesterday!

I loaded Cathe's November rotation onto the WM but was having issues modifying it to the DVD's I have, but at least have a weeks worth (except today) all loaded and ready to go. I think I will be doing either a cardio or full body today... will have to see what it starts out with tomorrow and decide... I think it is upper body...

anyway, hope everyone gets through the day with style, grace and a good amount of good ol' fashion sweat!
 
JJ the dvd is the same but I usually say Lauren Brooks or On The Edge.

The title she gave that dvd is a mouthful and her only dvd thus far.

I heard she is planning another kettlebell dvd once she's post partum at the moment I'm thinking she's close to giving birth again.

~ anyways I finished On The Edge the 40m workout then added on the 1st two sections of AOS Newport.

Now I need to go and help my youngest with her wrist watch :confused:

Where have you been ????? Traveling sucks. My husband does it ALL the time and continually gains weight and misses the gym. Where have you been going? Are you sick of it. Hey, JUST HAVE SOME WHISKEY and you'll feel all better!!!

I am now eating my plain grilled chicken with veggies. Yum. But I really want a double cheeseburger. :mad::mad:

Hey Dani, glad to see ya back around. You've had quite the schedule lately.

I just finished Lauren Brooks 12min w/o. Needed to practice KBs a bit and that one is perfect when you've already done something else.

I am really feeling the KBs in my abs :eek: I did those Russian twists with 26 pounds :eek::eek:

I was in Oklahoma for a week, home a week, then just got back from the Dallas, TX area last week... hopefully this will be the last of the trips for awhile! I don't mind the travel ~ just not all at once I guess, but it really does a number on my digestive system! :eek: and when eating out I don't have the highest level of self control! :mad: I am feeling better today so I think I'll pass on the Whiskey today Ellie :) but if I wasn't hurling yesterday, I'd have tried it for a cold! LOL

apparently don't have it at home either... we just got back from running errands, Home Depot etc, and had lunch at Fudruckers, then hit the grocery store!!! UGH! I have had a lifetime of cheat meals this past month, so bought fruit and oatmeal for breakfasts at the office... Lordy, why is it so hard to eat healthy!?:confused:

Hey Catherine... on the KB's ~ how do you decide what weight(s) to start at? I think I'm asking for KB's for Christmas... that topic came up at lunch and I don't really NEED anything, but everyone sounds like they are getting SO many benefits from it that I want 'em too! thanks
 
Dani, I read somewhere that women who are used to working out can start with a 8 or 12 Kg KB. I got both. I mostly use the 8 Kg for now and use the 12Kg for somethings. Actually could go heavier on some exercises. But don't want to invest anymore money till I am convinced that it's something that I will stick with :cool:
