Would so love to meet Robin in the morning for coffee!! Hopes she enjoys her visit with her friend.

Will be working 1/2 day and then has doctors appointment. Hopes to workout this evening.

I have a kettlebell session with Andrea this morning. We are supposed to work on turkish getups and I can't remember what else she said:confused:. I'll let you know how it goes.

I guess I'm the lazy peep today!! :(
I just don't feel like doing my workout. Not one little bit. It's raining and yucky and I want to crawl back into bed and read.

Had 4 cups of coffee, did nothing for my mood. Tried guilt, the scale and putting on a small pair of pants. NOPE, nothin'

LOL Ellie! I have a pair of those "small pants" in my closet that I use to kick me in the butt when my eating hasn't been so good:eek: They also come in handy when I've lost some weight and start to fit better. For some silly reason, they never seem to fit just right no matter what I do but they keep me in line:rolleyes:

BTW....it is raining here too.

Guten Morgen, Peepers!

I've got another pot of coffee on for us, as well as a big sunny smile and positive attitude for my fellow Peeps who are struggling today!!! :) It is BEAUTIFUL here in the Big D this morning, sunny and 55. Will be 74 today. And some of the trees are starting to turn colors!!! I LOVE mornings at this time of year!!! :)

This morning I was up and at it by 5:30AM. Did 4DS LIS Step and Stretch Max with the resistance band. It was a good workout day--no mental mistakes and I did the workout perfectly!! Whoo!

Last night I prepped tonight's dinner so I wouldn't have to slave. I roasted butternut squash in the oven and scooped it out, then I will cook it on the stove tonight with olive oil, fresh sage, rosemary, thyme, parsley and red pepper flakes. Then I'll serve it over whole wheat spaghetti and top with part-skim ricotta cheese. YUM! One of my favorite fall dishes when the nights get cool.

Now I'm at working (er, should be working!), eating a bowl of Kashi Go Lean French Vanilla cereal with dried cranberries and walnuts added, and sipping a double cup of the office tar with Hazelnut coffee-mate.

Ellie--Remember your uplifting pep talk this weekend to us? About being committed NOW? Well now is *today.* Pencil in your workout for some point and stick with it. Even if you do an easy one (I always whip out Basic Step or do the step parts of Body Fusion when I feel blah) and at least you will have moved and stuck with the plan. OK, Pep Talk over! :)

JJ--Turkish moves? Sounds very serious!! :)

Robin & Catherine--You ladies enjoy your day and your workouts later.

Alright, off to organize 40 people into car pools. Not an easy task but must be done!!

Robin: have a wonderful time with the friends and java! Good luck with GSL tonite! I have DOMS from tuesdays GSL today... guess no DOMS yesterday was just wishful thinking on my part!

Catherine: have a wonderful 1/2 day and good vibes for a good Dr appt ~ hope it's just routine stuff... at least you know the drill (hurry up and wait) from both sides of the desk!

JJ: have a fun KB session and report back with your progress! I'm still on the fence but won't be doing it until after STS or I'm gonna have some 'splainin' to do Lucy!

Oh Ellie: Is it another monday? I feel like this everyday! LOL! but rain does not help my motivation either... I'm with Wendy and we will both HOUND you (in an encouraging way) and crack the whip to get you out of bed and back into the groove today :p Don't fret ~ just put on your w/o clothes and tennies and even if it's only for 10 minutes MOVE ~ it's better than nothing, and tomorrow will be a bit easier :) (((hugs to you))) GO ELLIE!!!;)

Wendy: you are such a good girl to have done your workout already and Perfect Form ~ WOW ~ Impressive!!!! I am on my knees bowing to your greatness right now! All I wanted to do was roll over and close my eyes just a few minutes more at 5:30 this morning... I have trouble standing (more today than usual due to my last two night workouts) on both legs and putting one foot in front of the other at that hour....

Ok, so now everyone who is at work and should be *working* right now... GET BACK TO WORK! (including me!) and those of you not on the job, your floormax and laundrymax are waiting :)

YEAH for ELLIE!!! posted at the same time! but wanted to say glad you are feeling a bit better! and you did WAY more than 10 minutes, you did POWER MAX! It will give you energy for the rest of the day! ;)

JJ, Ugh, Turkish getups. Can't do them. I can hardly do a windwill and I know my form sucks. The few times I've done Turkish getups, its been without weight. Let us in on any secrets you learn.

ellie, I was all set to give you a proverbial kick in the buttinski, but I see you did it yourself. Good job! When I absolutely don't want to workout, I make myself start, telling myself I can quit in 10 minutes if I still feel the same. It usually is all I need.

Wendy, that meal sounds great! Carpooling 40 people? Sounds a bit like herding cats. Have fun.

Dani, LOL at your orders. I got all done with GSL and floormax. Now it's time for wallowing with a bookmax.
 
Thanks everyone for the encouragement!!!

I took the stupid sudafed 3 hours ago and I am freakin' out!!! Literally bouncing off the walls. My niece came over to watch the boys so I could get some things done. HA. Can not drive a car feeling like this. I'd be going like 100 miles per hour. So I tried doing my room mom stuff. Needed to send letters to all the parents thanking them for their help etc, Took me an hour to get it on paper!!! Maybe I should have taken this before my workout this am. I might still be going!!! :eek::eek::eek:

Rainy,dark days have always bugged me. Makes me want to curl up with a book and just chill. Ended up not even being able to read the first page, I think I kept reading it over and over again. No wonder we keep this crap behing the pharmacy counter now!!! :eek::eek:
