Ugh, Catherine, I'm joining you in the coffee department right now. DD would NOT sleep last night--kept waking up, crying, and as soon as you put her back to bed, she would have a meltdown. At 1:40AM I took her to the living room and she laid down on the floor (she has a naptime set up down there--old workout mat, quilts, baby blankets, etc.) but she still would not sleep for any good period of time. At 5:15 I put her to bed and she screamed and screamed and screamed and then THUD! DD had jumped out of the crib!
Finally, at that point, out of fear she'd hurt herself doing that again, and exhaustion, I brought her to bed with me (something I SWORE I'd never do) and she slept until 8:45. She already dragged out her stroller and climbed in (My que for a walk) and we took a 30 minute walk. I'm soooooooooooo tired. And today is supposed to be the painting party--if she doesn't crash by then!
So functional fitness was my workout this morning.
Oh, yeah, and any advice from moms on how to deal with this jumping out of bed thing would be greatly appreciated...
LaDonna--Yay, the big race! A full report is mandatory when you get back.
Robin--I watched the Penn State game to and they are awesome. GO STATE! We are...Penn State! Purdue, on the other hand...well, I'm just waiting for basketball. LOL!
Dani--Have a good trip in Oklahoma! Whereabouts are you going? Oh, by the way, now I have "Oklahoma" stuck in my head. Which is better than the New Kids on The Block song that was stuck there yesterday...(They are coming in concert here in Dallas in a week and yep, people are talking...or laughing...about it. LOL!)
Karin--I'm so glad your Dad is doing better and you are able to go home. I know it's tough, but it's good for you to get back to your life for awhile. You Dad will be in good hands.
JJ--Circuit workouts are a great way to feel like you've caught up when you haven't been working out, aren't they?
Elle--So glad to hear you are feeling better!
Greetings and waves to those who follow....

Wendy
