Pedometer and RS

Hi there,

I wore my pedometer this a.m. when I did RS and it said that I did 8,100 steps! That's a lot of steps! They say to be considered an active person, you must take at least 10,000 steps per day. So, RS is almost a full day's supply of steps packed into one hour!

BTW, Interval Max is only 6,400 steps according to my pedometer (feels like 640,000 though).

I think each airborne jump should be considered 72 steps. Seems accurate. Hey, where did you get your pedometer - I want one so bad! Thanks for the info!

Jillybean,
I got my pedometer as a gift, so I'm not sure where it came from. However, I saw an ad in the most recent issue of Prevention mag that you can order one similar to mine (digital, counts steps, calories burned, and mileage) for $22 or thereabouts. I have also seem them at WalMart. Maybe others know where to get one at a good price?

I got one on e-bay, and also got a free one when I bought my Powerbelt.

If you do any Cathe tape, you've nailed your 10,000 steps for the day. The rest is easy to get.

I also read in the latest issue of Fitness magazine that people who wear pedometers and are aiming for 10,000 steps per day clocked an average of 19,000 steps per day--almost double. I personally have never gone over 15,000 SPD, but my job is pretty sedentary most of the time.

I agree with HB that the rest of the 10,000 is a piece of cake to get if you do any Cathe step tape!
