By Peanut butter "with nuts" I assume you mean "chunky" PB? There's no nutritional difference between chunky and smooth, so just go with what you like best (what is more satisfying--I often find the chunky to be more satisfying).

I usually eat either Smucker's PB or a pb from my local health food store. (Watch out for the pseudo-"natural" Skippy or Jif that actually has added sugar and oil. A "natural" PB should only have peanuts and, optionally, salt, nothing more).

Good old Jif. I can't tolerate that natural stuff, and I used to work for Smucker's!

"It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt." Mark Twain ;-)

Just read the ingredients on the label...EVEN IF IT SAYS "Natural" on the label! Often, they add crap anyway. If it contains anything more than peanuts and salt, I leave it on the shelf. The chunky kind is a fun change.

I like the fresh peanut butter they sell in tubs at my health food store. It's cheaper than Jif and Skippy and stuff and it's made right there in the store. The only ingredients are peanuts and salt. Regular peanut butter has added hydrogenated oil to keep it from separating.
