passport update

Remember back in late June when I was wondering about my kids passports for a cruise to Mexico. All is well. We submitted the application and I decided to pay the $60 fee for the expedited passport. They have all arrived. Yea!! We are not traveling until Oct, but now we're ready! I have heard that others that applied before my kids but didn't expedite are still waiting! For me, it was worth the extra money because I didn't need the stress!

Good news Phyllis. My DH paid the extra and got his back in plenty of time for our trip to Canada in May. I didn't pay the extra, sent mine in for renewal 8 weeks before we left, and didn't get it back until we'd been home for 2 weeks.

You were smart to do that. I did the same thing the last time I had to renew my passport. It's just nice to have it and not have to worry about getting it on time.
