If it is possible to do exercises specifically geared to preventing either knee pain, plantar fasciitis, shin splints or heel spurs...please consider adding a segment in one of the new DVDs that will demonstrate these exercises and/or stretches. If this isn't possible, please consider showing alternate moves that are less likely to aggravate those or other problems.

I read a great book called Pain Free, by Peter Escogue. It was recomended by someone here on this forum. It shows specific exercises to do for all kinds of pain, back, knee, shoulder etc. It is a must read. My knee pain has stopped since doing the exercises. I have suggested it to everyone I know. It gets lots of positive reviews on amazon. Check it out.

I suffer from knee pain when doing lunges - mostly side to side lunges. I think I will check this book out! Thanks for the suggestion Mary!

I also would like to thank you for the suggestion. I've reserved a copy at the library. Have you seen the DVDs they offer - Egoscue: Pain Free Workout Series, Vol. 1 and 2? Any opinion about those? I tend to be a visual learner and retain more from what I see demonstrated than what I read. That's one of the reasons I'd love to see Cathe add a prevention segment into one of the DVDs.
