Hey, everyone, its been a longgggg time since I have posted on cathe, I am normally a lurker. However, I have lost a lot a pounds a few years ago and since then have gained most of it back (due to every day life issue..family, home, work..etc). I am starting again on Monday, but I am totally confused as to which program to begin with. I currently have most of Cathe's and P90x. I was wondering which program should I do first in my rotation. My choices are P90x, Sts or Xtrain. Just not sure which one to use first. My goal is to lose 40lbs by the end of the summer. When I lost the weight a while ago, I got the best results from working each body part twice a week, so I want to do the same again (after the first 30days). Which would program shall I do first? Any suggestions for anyone is welcome..Thanks,

I have and done all 3 rotations. Actually I am in the process of doing the Xtrain rotation with a twist. I did P90X years ago and must say it's the one where I lost the most weight. I only had less than 10 pounds to loose. But I must say that it's the tiem where I was the most consistent with my eating habits which is CRUTIAL. I did STS several times but I have large muscles and find that I feel to "pumped" especially after Meso 3. So I now stick with Meso 1 and 2. From what I ma feeling now (in my 3rd week of X-train), this would be a good program. It has a good variety of weight work, both endurance and hypertrophy, good metabolic training (Cardio Supercut) and a great variety of cardio. But yet again, nutrition is the key. Good luck.

I plan on alternating between X-Train and P90X. Both are butt kickin' programs. You can't go wrong with either. The X-Train premixes are amazing with no boredom.

My vote would be for XTrain as well for the fun factor! Of course, concentrating a bit more on diet than which specific rotation will get you closer to your goals :) Have fun and keep us up to date on your progress!
