P90X & Slow & Heavy Workouts....

Is P90X similar to Slow & Heavy Workouts? Or is the workout style totally different?
I am pushing to purchasing this series since I heard nothing but great reviews from it...

The workout style is rather different.
The weight workouts are set up in either circuit style (do a shoulder exercise, then one for biceps, then one for triceps, then repeat, then take a dynamic stretch break) or in push-pull style (alternate chest and back exercises).
There is time between each set of exzerxices to write down the weight you use.
You lift at your own pace and choose your own rep range.

I find P90X style training very effective and time-efficient (because of the 'active rest').
