P90X Rut Busters check in - week of St. Patty's Day!

Sorry to get the check in started late this week, but here we go! How is everyone doing? This is week 8 - the rest week.

I am repeating one week of phase two b/c I had a cruddy first week. I had yesterday off and did my chest, shoulders and tricpes + ARX. This morning I was exhausted froma late night out with BF's family but will do my KenpoX when I get home.

Shldrs & Arms = done. I was initally thinking of adding more cardio but was actually exhausted yesterday after my first week. So we won't be doing that. But maybe subbing some cycling for Kenpo X.
 
Doing hardcore gs this week again. Think this will be my last, that series is so boring!!! p90x is far more interesting. I did chest and tri's last night. Today, imax 3 or a hardcore extreme }(
 
Hey, all, I am glad to see this thread back up. I've been inching back into working out. After my virus I find I am weaker than I was when I started this checkin. Maybe that means I'm not totally recovered yet? I'm upping my Vitamin C and water intake.

I did a light cardio today, Step & Intervals, and felt better than I did when I tried working out a few days ago. Tomorrow I'll do the Gym Style legs again. I love, love, LOVE that DVD.
 
Hi Ladies - I started a new job this week and am loving it. Tomorrow I'm off for Orlando again for the wedding. This time I'm not taking my P90X DVDs since this is a rest week. I'll be walking with my sister in the mornings. I may take a yoga DVD though.

Hello everyone!!! Sorry I've been a bit MIA! Glad to see everyone back and feeling (mostly) better! And welcome to the newcomers!
Yesterday I did Kenpo X, though I've also been mostly doing Cathe cardio. I think I may be finally noticing a bit of a difference, of course it has to be just in time for my trip to California!!! Where of course everything will be ruined (and I don't care! :) )
Bubbles, have fun at your wedding, and the rest of you have fun with your rest week, or your extended week, or whatever workouts you choose to do!!!
I'm heading out tomorrow, I'll check in with you guys next week when I'm back!!

Hi Everyone! Did Legs & Back this morning. I switched a few things around this week so that I could get Lo Max in on Saturday and get some extra leg work in. I did skip abs this morning ;( but I promise to get them in tonight while dinner cooks!

Hey, gang, I did Muscle Max yesterday instead of GS legs. I felt I needed a total body workout after all that time off. Today I did most of Yoga X. It sure is a long one, isn't it!
 
OK...I totally went off the "schedule" today! I skipped P90X entirely and am going to the advanced step class at my gym. I missed it so much!

P90X Stretch yesterday, BECAUSE I WAS SO DANG SORE from MM. I hoped that Yoga X would soothe the DOMS but no way jose.

I'm still a little sore this morning but after I get home from my kid's sport's activity I'm gonna do Step Blast. I miss it. I've been humming the music.

Chest and Back = done. I haven't been able to do much this week. I'm hoping to atleast get all 3 strength workouts in though!

I did Biceps & Back on Friday and Core Max #1 yesterday. I was so tired yesterday that I decided to take yseterday as my day off (except for core) and workout today instead. We must be flexible! ;)

Well, I didn't do Step Blast yesterday--got caught up in other stuff. Then I woke up this morning with a craving for Imax2. I did the whole thing and had a blast. I finally feel like I'm back to speed!

Legs and Back = done!!! So that atleast gets all 3 splits in this week even if I didn't get the 2 cardios done!!! I was getting pretty nauseated with the BB rows by tonight since it was Back done Back 2 Back...:p
