P90X or Cathe

Hi everyone,

My goal this year is to lose about 15-20lbs. I do have a lot of muscle definition but need a lot of cardio and maintain my strength program.
I am an intermediate exerciser but would like to really push myself and get as close as I can to looking like Cathe...well as close as my genetics would allow :)
Which would be best to start with?.. would eventually like to rotate both if possible. Or should I do Cathe only for both strength and cardio?

Any opinions/advice you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Thx.

Tina.

P90X is more strength-oriented. One of the complaints often seen about the series is the lack of cardio... but then, the whole point of that series is to build muscle, not to lose weight. If you need to lose weight, you are probably better off building your Cathe library first.

Good luck!

To get that ripped look, you need to lose body fat so you are right one with cardio. I would NEVER recommend P90X for cardio. P90X is best for upper body strength. However, Cathe's Gym Styles are very competitive in that regard.

All things considered, I would focus on more cardio and tightening up the diet...the diet is 82-85% of it...it really is!

Hi Sarah-

When you did your P90X rotation, what did your diet consist of? Your pics look fabulous! I eat pretty clean. I do eat breads, pasta, and rice but they are all whole whet. I try and stay away from sugar (that is my big downfall!) for the most part as well.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums and the wonderful world of Cathe!

KPC is truly one of Cathe's best! You'll soon be ordering the rest of her workouts. And remember to Kick the Kick and Punch the Punch!:)

KPC is a work of art, Kick Max takes things a little more serious, with fun . Be sure to check your heart rate monoter with both.

No excuses just do it, Cathe is Queen as always!
