Morning, girls :)

Up early again so I can run without some of the humidity. Then it'll be PLB.

Nancy :: ((((HUGS))) How you doing today? We're here if you want to talk.

Angie :: hmm, I've never had to cook for a family on-the-go...Do you always stay at the practices or do you go home in between?...I would say maybe pack some fruit or other healthy snack for the car and have a salad already ready, so they can eat that while you warm up or make dinner...Yeah, I think the writing camp is great! :)...I tutor again today - had a break last week while the student was in camp.

Hi Diana & Laura! Enjoy your w/outs today, everyone!
BBL...

Mornin all:)

We're getting some of that hot, humid, dreadful, weather that is sounds everyone else has been dealing with this summer. I'm waiting until I absoutely have to turn on the air. We just have a small unit in our bedroom, but I'm stubborn about turning it on.}( We're supposed to go camping again this weekend, but the weather looks iffy for the weekend. Hot and stormy.x( I love the storms, but not when I'm camping. Oh well, if it rains we can always go shopping, bowling, or maybe even roller skating?.:) It's been ages since I've done that and the kids never have so it might be an option.

Cathy - You are an early bird aren't you? I wish I was. Are you running every day now in addition to doing a LB workout?
We pretty much stay at Cams soccer practice b/c his practices/games are only about an hour or so long. By the time we get there it's not worth fighting the traffic to go anywhere for that short time. I will be just dropping Cody off from 6-8 every night or I will use the track and read while he is practicing. Having them both in sports is a challenge! We have gone to subway, ordered some subs, packed some apples and carmel rice cakes for after. It worked out nicely and everyone enjoyed it, but that's only one day - I have 3-4 more to plan out. ;( :7 x( Plus, it gets so darned expensive eating out every night. I also hate to pack sandwiches since DH has those for lunch every day. Actually the boys might also. I think this year I'll let the boys take their lunches in. I keep watching how the schools lunches are void of nutrition and I think why am I paying for this? When I know the boys can pack their own PB&J and it will be healthier for them too.
Has your school re-vamped it's lunch program yet? It seems like it is a new wave going around, which is great! I would love to be involved in something like that - maybe I'll have to dig my heals in when school starts back up. Hmmmmm - another project on my plate - ugh!:D
Good luck with your tutoring session today.:)
Any other further thought on that tat?

Laura - Welcome back! Hope you got big fish and had a great time last weekend. Just think, you are already 25% thru the work-week.:) What ya got on tap for this weekend?

Nancy - Your pain is still weighing on my mind.:-( We're here.....

Diana - What kind of torture are you going to inflict on yourself today? Has the back problem resolved?

Wendy is probably out for an AM run knowing her. I'll bet she's having a blast

I'll check back later girls. I don't plan on doing too much in this heat! Maybe some clean max downstairs where it's cool and pre-packing for the camping this weekend.

Hi ladies,

This morning I had to get up extra early and did S&H Chest & Triceps. I hope to get to the rec ctr for legs this afternoon. Bootcamp was awesome last night. We did the walking lunges uphill, jump rope, pull ups, squats, dips and my favorite, harness runs. Several of us also ran the length of the field (100) yards 3 times. My legs were fried after that.

My errand this morning was going to the OB Dr. with DH's girlfriend. The babies look good so far and both have strong heart beats. They did a quick ultrasound so I got to see them both. In about 6 weeks they can tell us the gender(s).

Cathy-Great job getting that run in before the humidity kicks in. I wish I could find a good math tutor for my son, although I'm not sure how much it will help since he's a senior this year.

Angie-I absolutely have the same dinner dilemma you do. I'm going to make 2 pans of lasagna to freeze and am looking for some other make ahead and freeze kinds of dishes. I'll let you know what I come up with. We can't afford to eat out all the time and I don't want the kids eating junk food. I am looking into suppersolutions.com since there is one in my neighborhood. You can either go in and spend 1 1/2 hr and prepare 12 dinners to take and freeze or let them prepare them and you just pick them up. It's $195 if I make them or $230 if they prepare them. It seems a little pricey but I would like to give it a try.

Nancy-are you feeling any better today? We understand if we don't hear from you for a few days. Take care.

Laura-I'm anxiously awaiting to hear your weekend adventure story.

Wendy-Hope you are enjoying your run on the beach and Joey's first adventure into the ocean.

Hi again

I had a bike ride and ARX scheduled for today but it's waaaaay too hot for that! So, instead I pulled out CoreSyn thinking it won't be too bad. What was I thinking? My clothes were completely wet after I was done! That sucker is tough!! LOL

I've gone thru some paperwork today but haven't really done much as far as cleaning goes. Oh well, the paperwork needs to be done too. I'm getting so sick of all the paper piles and so I have started to tackle them. The kids still have papers in their backpacks from school.x( I'm gonna try to get the ambition to go thru that too, but no promises.:)

I think it's gonna be BLT's tonight with a pasta salad. I want to make something cool and don't want to go out to eat. DH doesn't mind BLT's for dinner since he never packs those in his lunch. With today being so hot, I think a nice root beer float with diet root beer and low fat ice cream will be on tap for an evening snack.:9

Diana - sounds like you are on to a solution to your dinner problem. I wish we had something close to us like that. I guess I just need to do some more pre-planning for dinner and maybe use the crock pot more than I generally do. This time of year starts to get so darned harry! It's also tough to figure out what to do when it gets hot out like it has been lately. I'm almost looking forward to fall.

Check back later

Angie
