Hi, ladies!

Classic/Week 1/Phase 1/Day 7 (WEEK 1 COMPLETE)

I'm sore in all KINDS of places today. Kenpo got me good from yesterday. Kickbox always makes me sore across the top. LOVE IT!

This morning I plugged in X Stretch. I SOOOOOOOOOOOO needed it too. Loved the relaxing, long stretches!

I'm jealous of the assisted pull up rack. LOL. I couldn't find a good deal when I was shopping around, but I'm glad you got one, Desertbriez! Enjoy it.

My bands are scheduled to be here early this week, but not in time for tomorrow's Back and Chest workout. BOO HOO! LOL

My hip flexors are feeling better today probably because my butt is hurting more, lol. Like you said Desertbriez, punch here and X feels better. I'm surprised at the DOMS today in my legs because I felt that I work harder in Cathe lower body workouts. I hope it slims these legs....

Today is Kenpo X for the first time. I'm looking forward to it from what I've heard. I've said that I'm not into cardio at all and these workouts seem right up my alley. Nothing fancy and not too over the top.

I still have some correcting to do to my diet. I always try to eat right but I haven't cut my carbs as much as he recommends in Phase 1. What can I say? I love carbs - only the healthy ones. I haven't eaten much in the way of white stuff for a few years now. Oh...except that sushi yesterday. The restaurant didn't have brown rice which I don't understand. I'm sure more people are asking for it lately, no? And, I love sushi.

ok..... i love the assisted tower! WAY cool! and it even worked out with both of us using it!

i did have to improvise on the close grip cuz the closest point is still too wide for me to do close grip.... so i turned sideways and used just one of the grip aread but with my hands close (am i making any sense here?

i also used the bottom push up area for my wide pushups! much more stable! when i use my handle thingy's i always feel unstable like i'm gonna fall over when i go wide (i still used the handle thingy's for normal, military, etc)

my quads are much better today... still sore but no where near what they were yesterday.... i expected ab ripper x to kill more than usual cuz of my sore legs but it was about the same! phew!

i put the sticker on the calendar just as soon as we were done! tee hee!

nancy.. kenpoX is fun... but don't expect to get your heartrate up too high! it's a good workout... just not really too cardio!

we still have to go on a bike ride later today when it warms up (unless we decide to go do something special or different... i.e. pig out somewhere for our anniversary instead of riding! we'll see!)

I feel sad that this thread is not jumping, :-( . I need all the motivation that I can get.

Ok, I did Kenpo X today and loved it. Just my speed. A cardio workout for someone that hates cardio. I found it just challenging enough and I think that this was the workout that I "brought" the most to. Plus, it was fun. AND, I love Tony. Don't know why, just do. I remember when all I had was arms and shoulders (before I bought the whole program) I disliked his antics. Now I love them. I think he's adorable. "Get those friggin' legs up there"........

My eating for the past two days hasn't been too bad either. Okay, I'll keep plugging away. Tomorrow is stretchX. I'm looking forward to it.
