Good morning wonderful ladies!

I'm actually going for a hike today. I pushed my rotation out a day so it fits in my schedule better, so Back and Chest is tomorrow. :) I'm excited. Today it's out with the DH and the fat doggies (weather here has been horrible and the dogs have not been out hiking for a while). It'll be nice to be out in the sun!

Good Morning Christine and all that follows!

This morning I did KenpoX as I wasnt able to get it it yesterday. We had an 8am baseball game - but I did also spend 2+ hours working hard in my yard. That officially finishes my 6th week. YEAH!!!

Tomorrow with me Chest, Shoulders and Tris and then some cardio at lunch since I am doing doubles, probably Turbo Jam - or I was also thinking about doing some IMAX intervals.

This afternoon we are taking out doggies out as well. We are going to meet some friends down at the waterfront in downtown portland and walk around with the pups. It is going to be a gorgous day here today - sunny and low 70's!

Have a great Sunday!

Good Morning, P90Xers!

I will be starting week 8 tomorrow. Just wanted to say that if you are just beginning this series, please do some "before" photos for yourself. Man, how I wish I would have. I am hardly believing the results I am seeing. It would have been so fun to compare at the end, but I just didn't bother, and I really regret that. I didn't even do measurements...just the fit-test.

DH is doing Power90; this is his first experience with home exercise. Really, his first experience with any true exercise program. We did "before & during" photos of him, and they are so motivating--he just hit the 1/2 way point and was feeling that "I don't think this is doing so much for me" thing; that slump where you wonder if you should go on, quit, or try something else. It was the photos that gave him a true perspective of all the changes he has accomplished.

Thanks for letting me pop in here........

Julie

Good Sunday! This am I did Shoulders/Arms for the 1st time, as well as Ab ripper. GREAT WORKOUT! I will be sore. When I lift heavy, I sometimes feel it in my neck/top of spine...anybody else? Maybe my form needs work. I am playing tennis this afternoon! ha ha, I haven't picked up a racket in 3 yrs - doing a team a favor so they don't have to forfeit. We'll see how it goes. I'll let ya'll know. Tomorrow is yogax..I need the stretch! Thank you for the reminder Julie to take pictures! I need to do that now!

Hope everyone has a great walk with the doggies and enjoys this beautiful weather! Here in Atlanta it is 82 & sunny! WHOA!

Hello ladies!
yesterday...again...was a crazy day, so I didn't get to do anything. Very busy at work and worked the day away. My schedule is alittle out of wack. Since, I ended up not working out 2X this week. So, today I did legs & back and ab ripper and stretch X. I liked it. As I was going thru it, I didn't think it was that hard, but then I felt it in the wall squats and when I walked up the stairs! A little shaky. The Ab ripper was alot harder for me this time, I think working legs and Ab ripper on the same day is hard! Next time, I think I'll switch to Core max.
I felt I really needed some good stretching...so I added stretch X. really liked it. Sometimes, stretching feels so good.
Kenpo is tomorrow.
Ya..I haven't taking any pictures or measurements. I think its a good idea! Keep ya inspired and on track too. Since, I just i'm finishing up my first week, I think I'm gonna. Has anyone done thier body fat percentage??
Well...carry on PX'ers!! Enjoy the day...here in upstate NY, it is cloudy, cool, and rainyx(

Alicia - that's funny. I notice the exact same thing when I did Legs and Back and Ab Ripper. Those Fifer Scissors kill me anyway, but after Legs and Back I could do about 1/2 of them (I usually only have to pause for a few). I, too, decided a Core Max workout after L&B would be a good decision. Heck, I went for a 6 mile hike today (DH's knee is bothering him, so we cut it short), and could STILL feel L&B in my glutes and that was 4 days ago! Gotta love it!

Hi Christine...
On the Ab Ripper - I have a difficult time on the bicycles, biking backwards! Forward fine...backwards is just akward! Wierd.
That is great that you hiked 6 miles! Nothing like fresh air and the outdoors..and spending time with your DH! Well, sometimes:)
I do have to admit I like to feel some soreness. Bring it!

Looking forward to finish my first week. My eating still needs to be cleaned up a bit. Doing better, but, definately room to improve

;-)
