P90X cardio question

For those that have done the program, I understand that their is about 2 days of cardio in it. Did you follow this exactly or did you add in extra cardio days?
 
I always did Plyo X but didn't always get Kenpo X in every week although I do dance every week for 3 hours so I felt I got enough cardio in.

I also followed the 2 days of cardio (mostly) the first time I did the program and got good results, even though I followed the "plethora of crap" eating plan :p
 
I pretty much did 3 days of cardio and got great results but I did NOT do kenpo or plyo 99% of the time. I ran once a week, took spin once a week and did a circuit leg work out once per week.

I plan to do it again starting January and I think I will give the 2 days of cardio a try. I will most likely run one of them and perhaps I will alternate between plyo and kenpo for the other.
