P90 Question(s)

I have been reading about the Power 90 System on this forum and I am quite intrigued! I have a few questions from you pros. Right now the system is listed for $70 (includes shipping) but I don't think it has 12 workouts. Am I misunderstanding something? Is this a condensed version? Help! The thread I read on here from May 2004 said it was for $150.00

Also, on the same May 2004 thread there was a lot of chatter about the pull up bar but I didn't see that on the Beach Body website either.

Finally, I am pretty darn fit, about 12-15% body fat(all on the abs...it seems). What can this system do for me? Will it help? Promise it won't make me look manly?

There are two different systmes: P90 is the original, which is not as advanced as P90X (X for "extreme"). Also, from what I've read, P90 is not as effective or interesting as P90X.

P90X is good in that YOU choose your rep range, from 6-8 to really build muscle and strength, to 12-16 to work on endurance and definition. At 12-15% body fat, your about as low as you can safely go for a woman (I'm assuming your a woman because you don't want to look "manly":p , but I can't tell from your user name.)

Some of what P90X did for me: improved core strength and abdominal definition; ability to now do full push-ups!; improved strength in all body parts; better muscle definition, especially in the upper body; improved flexibility (a yoga and a stretch workout are part of the rotation, and each strength workout includes some good stretches throughout.)

I'm not looking to lose anymore body fat but I am looking for a great challenge. I am a woman, a small one at that(4'11"). I really need to unbury my abs. Should I just try to get my hands on Tonys ab workouts?

O.k., I just found the Power 90X and it is $150 plus shipping. Same question, will this help me even though I have no weight to lose? I just really need to unbury the abs.

My concern is also this...Hardcore should be here by the end of the month! More $$$$ and more workouts than I know what to do with!

i have some of the power 90X workouts, they are availible individually on dvds. the entire series is meant for 12 weeks and i know i could NEVER let cathe's new dvds sit for 12 weeks. by the way.. i am from cincinnati too......anyway...i only have the cardio ones..they are okay..like cathe better, but many many people at videofitness LOVE the power 90X set...tough call
