OT-So, who did you vote for....

It's been so close, and I didn't vote - I always get busy signals, but based on what they did last night, I think Clay will win. I love what he did with Bridge Over Troubled Waters! What a voice!

I had thought all along that Ruben had more promise as a marketable singer, but now I'm not so sure.

My vote definitely goes to Clay!!! His rendition of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" blew me away last night. I had goosebumps! Funny, I told my hubby I would love to have a CD by him to do housework to! I think he is so very talented, no matter the song they give him. I love his stage presence too. Now, that said, I think Rueben is great too and both guys are so, so very humble. May the BEST man win!http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/party/dance.gif

Three land lines and three cell phones in our house (two parental cells and one teenager cell) equalled 5 votes for Clay and 1 vote for Ruben. (Can you guess how the votes were split???) Our thirteen-year-old son sided with his brother, too, but we "called" the land lines. <grin -- would insert smiley but they aren't working today!>

There aren't any losers here, though -- what truly nice, normal, phenomenally talented young men! But as a native North Carolinian, I gotta say CLAY ALL THE WAY!!!

They both did so good, but Clay outdid himself lastnight. I couldn't get through, but my vote would have gone to Clay. I wish they could both win! ;(
