I know this has nothing to do with fitness, which is why I'm posting it to the Open Discussion forum.
My local radio station (WZPL 99.5 in Indianapolis) is doing their annual Make-A-Wish Request-A-Thon for children who are seriously ill/diseased. Some of these kids don't have long to live and for those who aren't familiar, the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes for these children. Some kids just want to go to Disney Land...some want to meet a celebrity...some just want to take a vacation. Unfortunately, these kids' special needs prohibit them from partaking in many things you and I take for granted...like exercising, for example. The radio station is trying to raise $135,000 dollars to grant as many wishes as possible (they have granted about 5 so far), and the morning DJ plans on staying on the air for 36 hours (until 6:00pm Friday night) to support this cause. If you donate $25 or more, you also get to make a request that they WILL play (given they don't run out of time).
You can listen to them online at this link:

Just select the "Click here to listen to Z99.5" at the top right side of the page.
You can donate online to Make-A-Wish at this link:

You can also call toll free 1-877-385-0099 to make a donation. If the lines are busy, please keep trying.
Thank you all for your help in making these disadvantaged kids' wishes come true this holiday season. And, if you think about it, please pass the word on to everyone you know. We have until 6:00pm on Friday night (Eastern time) to reach our goal!
Have a great day!
