I knew my dog Tucker could reason - I've seen him think through scent patterns while searching too often to not believe it. But, this is cool. Confirms what a lot of us already knew...

Cool article. I'm glad scientists are finally giving animals, like our beloved dogs, their due!!! The hope is that if humans acknowledge that dogs and other animals are not that much different than us, well, these wonderful creatures will be treated better. They have emotions, thoughts, and, I believe, have (for lack of a better word) souls, too.

OMG, my Newfie is the most expressive dog. I swear he "glares" at me if he does not get his walk at the regular time everyday!

I cannot imagine life without pets!
