Only Muscle Max for toning???

Is it o.k. if I only do Muscle Max for toning? I do it 3 times a week. I've just started buying Cathe's dvds so I can't afford all of them. I've got Pyramid on my list.

Something is always better than nothing. Certainly a variety of Cathe workouts is a good goal to have, but as your saving your sheckles for the Pyramids (and, just in passing, great next choice you've made!) by all means continue to do Muscle Max.

You can mix things up a bit with that DVD by doing it once as produced in one session, doing the leg portions TWICE on another day for a leg blast, and doing the upper body segments TWICE EACH (i.e. chest and repeat chest, back and repeat back) on the third day for an upper body blast. You can mix THAT up even more by using heavier weights for the first set on each muscle group, then using lighter weights on the second set. Or vice versa. You've really got many options here.

I have a question on Muscle Max. I just did it for the first time yesterday. I usually do one strength training video for the whole month, (3x per week). I have Upper Body Pyramid, Push & Pull, Supersets , Muscele Max, (which I just got), and Muscle Endurance is on it's way.

For some reason, Muscle Max seemed to me much more intense than the other Cathe videos I've been doing. So my question is: Do you guys think it would be to much to do just Muscle Endurance throughtout the next 4-6 weeks, or should I be doing it only 2x a week and use another one of my strenth training videos for the 3rd strength training day?

Any advise you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated.

have you checked out her hard core rotation? that might give you some ideas. i like to do one of the upper body 2-3x twice a week depending on the intensity and how you feel,then switch to another partly because i have all her upper body tapes including circuit.
