Online video brings the gym home

That is a great idea and especially for people traveling who could use this technology in their hotel rooms...providing the hotel supplied them with dumbbells and other necessary equipment. Now hotels are going to need to start stocking racks of dumbbells for guests to use.

I agree! This would help solve the "how can I get my work out in while on vacation?" problem. I always hate using the hotel gyms..well, I pretty much hate any gym. I even like cardio more than I like gyms so that's really saying something! It'd be nice to have the option for a good WO right in your room.

MY DH travels a lot and I believe the Westin is now offering rooms with an exercise bike or elliptical in the room, along with some freeweights. I thought this was a fabulous idea. He got a bike and rode it in the morning.

I work for local government, & we're actually already doing this (yes, that's right, believe it or not govmt is ahead of the tech curve for once).

Our council mtgs are broadcast live through streaming video so people who don't have the ridiculous cable access channel, or so staff who live out of town, can watch the mtgs as they happen. It's pretty cool.
