Online prices/Wait or order?

To wait or not to wait, that is the question. Does anyone with any savvy about these things know if internet prices are expected to go down more before Christmas?

I'm trying to get a Garmin Forerunner 305. I've been playing chicken with Amazon (they're down to $128.90). I thought it might go lower on Cyber Monday, but no. Walmart.com had it for $99, but it was out of stock (of course)--now it's the same price as Amazon. I keep wondering if it will show up on one of Amazon's deals. . . but I'm also afraid the price might go up again. Amazon had a great deal on the camera my son wanted (fortunately he got it), and now it's gone up $100.

If you find what you are looking for within a few dollars of what you are willing to pay, I would just go for it. The problem with waiting too long is that the stuff you want may end up being out of stock or go up in price (if it's a popular item).

True! I just need to order . . . and then quit looking (in case the price goes down).
