One More TLT Question

What size cheap area carpet/rug should I get for using my gliders on? I guess I'm wondering if just a 5x7 is big enough...I mean, she doesn't skate around the room does she? ;)

I think that would be plenty big enough, but you might want to view the w/o first and see for yourself. You may not even need the carpet. I think someone posted either here or on VF that they used gliders with puzzle mats. Try doing a search here on TLT's.

5 x 7 would work fine.
The most you need for width is to move both legs to the side while in plank (alternating), and for length, enough to move your legs in from plank to underneath your abs. There are also some standing glidig moves and some then moves with one hand on the discs, but they would work with that size rug.

I have furniture gliders that I've been using over my puzzle mats, but they aren't as smooth as I'd like (all the gliding moves in the TLT's are not to work the moving limb, but to work the core or stabilizers of the opposite limb, which are working to hold stability against the movement, so having a more slippery glide is better than having a resisting glide). I intend to use a yoga mat I have (that is has soft fabric on one side and sticky on the other) next time I do these moves, so the gliders glide more glidingly! ;)
