ONE MINUTE QUICK FIX

Hi Everyone! Have you rev'd your metabolism today? It only takes a minute :) Do any exercise you want for one full minute and then resume your normal schedule. This not only rev's the metabolism but clears the mind of cob webs by bringing oxygen rich blood to the brain for clearer thinking. So go ahead...pick an exercise and report back to let me know what you did....I did wall squats with the stability ball.

YOU CAN DO ANYTHING FOR A MINUTE!!!!! :eek::eek::eek:

How are you? Hey I did "Cross Train Xpress Power Circuit" today and I will use those wonderful planks you do in it. What's a plank minute any way. BTW I love the workout and already plan on using the back segment for my WOB program. Thanks for this great tip!
 
Hi Cathe!! I'm at work but I have my own office. I think I'll do calf raises for a minute. Great idea!! I'm going to do this everyday from now on, that's if I remember!!
 
I just did kegels for a minute. :rolleyes: It's not quite a jumping jack, but my physiotherapist demands it. Or as I call her, my "pelvic floor personal trainer".

I just practice stepped to the CTX Power Circuit & Kickbox, lots of minutes there, I'll try your "one minute fix later" for a pick me up!

I did 3 sets of 15 wall stick ups. This is my fix for a slouchy posture, or when I'm feeling tight through my shoulders and pecs -- it makes me feel very tall :D . And I topped it off with a set of 8 push-ups.

Hi Cathe!

Today was a rest day. Randy has Impetigo/Staph infection due to his eczema and he didn't sleep well last night and that meant that I didn't either. Poor little guy has to avoid contact with others for a few days -except me of course. It looks like a really big cold-sore and he's soo self-concious about it.:(

But, I did 2 hours of your workouts yesterday so my bones were ready for a break!! Tomorrow I'm back at it!!

Well so far today, I did three laps around my building, so that was about 10 minutes (we have an indorr track at work). It really got the blood flowing. Later today I'm following the Aug rotation and will do Kick Max (don't have KPC just yet).
 
I already worked out this a.m but I did a minute of sun salutations. I have learned to love them after originally hating them. Felt great.
 
I like the plank idea since I need to strengthen my core.....off to do a minutes worth!
