On lunch break at NFL...wanna chat?

Hi Everyone. We are at NFL editing again today but I thought if you were around we could chat and have lunch together. I'm having a chicken ceasar salad? How about you? Editing is going great. Today's workout has a lot of intensity and the sweat is pouring out of everyone. I remember filming it that day and watching it now doesn't look any easier, LOL.

Just saying hi, nothing to really ask. Anxiously awaiting STS of course but kinda glad it's not here yet b/c the summer is so hard to commit to rotations due to vacations and other activities.

I'm fairly new to experiencing Cathe - just in the last 2 years. I must say I really enjoy most of your workouts and please keep them coming (just with a little less impact LOL).

I just wanted to say Hi and really looking forward to STS- especially the 4 Plyo w/o's you mentioned :) I started working out with you in January and have already noticed such a difference in my overall strength. You are so wonderful! Anyway, thanks again for all you do.

Right now I am enjoying the 4DS}(
Any thoughts on the less cardio, more weights argument?? right now I am doing 3 days of 1/2 an hour cardio: 2 of those days are HIIT. Does that sound like to little?:eek:

Your lunch sounds great! I'm not ready for lunch quite yet, as it's only 10:00am in Portland :) I'm having a soy mate' latte now, made with Guayaki Yerba Mate' tea(mmmm!).
This is the first time I've written to you directly, and it's exciting! I'm also excited about STS, and can't wait for that! Thanks so much for the hard work that I can follow in your great blog pictures!

I had a question about a weighted vest. If I used a weighted vest for deadlifts, would I get the same, similar, or different benefits of using a heavier bar(for example 10 pounds extra weight on the barbell vs wearing the 10 pound vest). I just wondered because if the weight is distributed a bit differently could I could get the same benefits? (I'm trying to figure out what equipment to buy or cut back on what to buy, although I might buy it all!)

Just wanted to jump in here and tell you that I'm really enjoying 4DS. I've been using alot of premixes lately (mostly circuits).

Unfortunately STS just isn't in our budget at the moment...looking forward to owning it someday though!!

You're just so FANTASTIC...thanks for all of your hard work and dedication :)

Hi Linda! Nice to hear from you. You will get the same benefits with the weight vest along with a safer workout. The weight vest is less stress on your spine and also provides you with better balance since the weight is nicely centered on your back. This in turn provides you with much more comfort and ease of movement, which in turn allows you to put up even more weight:7 Get psyched for STS!

I'm glad you're online because I'd like your advice on the type of barbell to purchase. I love your workouts and have just been using dumbbells, but now I'm ready to buy a barbell! Which barbell do you suggest and how many pounds? Also, would you suggest I wait until your new line of Cathe products is available?
