There are two new guys who are trouble for sure. I did not want them to get elected, I certainly did not vote for them (altho I did vote for a couple people on their ticket). Both of them are "consultants" who work out of their homes & are already in town hall fairly regularly, now they're gonna be here every day, all day. Both are serious conspiracy theorists--they think corruption & graft are going on all over the place here & they already think it's their job to be "watchdogs." Both have their own agendas & don't yet understand the process & the fact that they can't come in like gangbusters trying to force their campaign platforms through regardless of legalities & consensus. Both of them hate my boss & will no doubt make his life miserable (no more 5 hour workdays for him LOL), which in turn will make my life miserable.
Remember the mechanical bull in Urban Cowboy? That'll me. They'll both play John Travolta.
ETA: Also, remember the harassment problems I had w/the mayor? Well, his business is still right across the street & there's no professional relationship anymore. Another one of my concerns--I'm really afraid he'll come on 10 times as strong now.
