Old cartoons are new again

My son has recently started watching and even enjoying the cartoons many of us grew up with. Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry, Scooby Do. What's up with that??? And oh my gosh are those cartoons annoying and violent!!

Any other kids out there with cartoon flashbacks??

We catch them now and again, and they are funny as ever. We all like Tom and Jerry. I love the old Looney Tunes, too. When the Boomerang channel started it was all old cartoons, now not so much. They are "funny/cartoon violent" but it's all in fun.

DH (36), DS (10), and I (33) all love them.

ETA: The newer versions of them are nowhere near as good. New Scooby Doo - blech.
 
OMG, I love Looney Tunes. Grew up on Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam and Daffy Duck. I think those old cartoons are far better than any of the newer crap that's on these days. I have several compilations of Looney Tunes DVD's - they are hilarious.
 
I absolutely enjoy the cartoons I grew up with over any of the garbage that's out there now. Looney Toons are classics and will never be topped! :D
 
My son likes the Pink Panther cartoons.

It's not a cartoon, but all my kids LOVE the Cosby Show. We've been getting them from the library.
