Because I am so not ready!!!
I need every single day to work my way up to some acceptable level of fitness!!!
Today is my off day and I am sore, but I really wanted to do another DVD. Had to keep telling myself I don't want to get hurt before the trip!!!!:) :)

Hi Lorrie,

Believe it or not but I have reduced my standard carry-on suitcase from a 23" down to a 19" or 20" one! Ironically, I feel I can fit more in this smaller space than my old suitcase. Hmmmm....

Oh, I am updating the packing tips list and will post when we get closer to July's road trip date.

I do know that we are including info regarding airlines charging fees for a second piece of checked luggage to help dissuade folks from going crazy with their packing. I'd rather save my $25 and buy a Cathe DVD. ;-)

Oh, Shelley, I feel your pain!!! I'm hardly one to wish time away, but, man, I wish the RT was sooner!!!

LOVE making lists!!! I've already started a couple. Still have much to do, like make my Amtrak reservation. And I can't pack yet because (getting ready to brag!!!) I may have to buy some new threads...I'm on Weight Watchers and have lost about 10 pounds in the last 7 weeks, so HOPEFULLY, I'll be down a few more pounds by the time the RT gets here!!!! I'm treating myself to a new RT wardrobe!!!!

Boy, I can't wait to meet everyone!!!!!

Do you mean to tell me you are going to torture me & make me wait until JULY for an official list/tips. AAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!! I thought maybe once the Aug people signed up we would get it, hoping anyway. Is that when we'll get more details also?......I know, you're teaching us patience, right?

I also have my lists going. They're getting longer by the day. Good thing I'm driving so I'm not limited on what I can bring. My motto - better to have to much than not enough.

You can bet you're not the only one whose getting new workout gear. My roomie, Sheela (FL) & I are doing our part to keep UPS in business with our on-line shopping. Think of it as stimulating the economy. So much fun, just have to hide it from DH!!!

Seriously, I was working on updating the packing list last night. I want to hold off on posting anything until the dust settles with the airlines. Lots of changes have been ocurring and I am caputuring everything I can to make things more helpful for road trippers. For example, several airlines are now incurring a $25 fee for a second checked piece of luggage. Not sure if any other changes will happen between now and July.
