Okay! Had to laugh at my Valentines....

DH is away on business in HK - so no Valentines dinner there, and the three children are also out to dinner with their partners for Valentines

Soooooo my female friend (whoes unattached) forces me to get of my sorry lonely ass and go out to dinner with her.

Well! There we are sitting in a lovely restaurant, watching the love birds all around, when a guy handing out single red roses to everyone, comes to our table and gives us a rose..........says what a lovely couple we make...........and wishes us many happy years together

Haha

So now being official lesbians, and the only same sex couple at the restaurant.............. we did the only thing you could do under those circumstance...........we played along.

It was a "hon" from me, and a "love" from her when talking to each other, a bit of a giggle now and then during dinner..........and the end result! .........a discount on our bill

Moral: The grass CAN be greener on the otherside LOL!

It is fun to play along, isn't it?

Similiar thing happened to me. I went to visit my best friend in PA who I haven't seen in a year. Naturally, we were happy to see each other again and giggling over stuff as we went to the grocery store so my best friend could pick a few things up. While standing in the checkout line, this woman from behind us and just giving us this evil look and looking us up and down. Either... (a) she is jealous because she thinks were gay and we didn't invite her to be part of "our love triangle" or (b) she thinks were gay and doesn't like gays. So we figured (b)was most likely and we played along after that saying freaky things to each other and laughing all the way back to her house.
It really made our day and we told her husband who laughed his butt off.
