OK, this is just WEIRD!

I have noticed that if I do the cardio blast section of Step Blast without doing the 3 cardio segments before it, it's harder! Last night I did Legs & Glutes and needed a 25 minute run. So instead I did the 3rd combo and the Step Blast Challenge and my lungs were hurting. Granted, I do have a cough, but this is not the first time I've noticed that. When I do the entire Step Blast workout, I don't get as tired.

That's just bizarre...

that is very strange.

p.s. dh finished dt. he doesn't seem happy. is he gonna be in a dark mood all week?

He'll get over it once he reconciles himself with how it ends and tries to find the deeper meaning. Everyone I know had a hard time with the way it ended.

I'm just about through with Clash of Kings. Theon just took over Winterfell. That jerk!

Do you usually do L&G before the entire SB video? Prefatiguing the legs might have some influence on it. Try doing the cardio first and the leg work second:D

I don't find that necessarily that weird. When you do the three cardio segments first, your body is gradually getting used to an increase intensity of activity. When you do the Blast without that preparaiton, your body is going "whoa! Where did that come from?" Also, exercise can raise the pain threshhold (just try waxing before you exercise, vs. after), and make something "painful" feel less so.

Donna: I agree with Kathryn. It mnakes perfect sense to me. I can do Step Blast and all the blasts at the end and be less winded than doing CTX Step & Intervals because the lead in to the intervals is much shorter on Step & Intervals with power 15's preceeding it. In fact, I'd rather do Imax 2 that Step & Intervals. There you go!
