OK Millie - its our turn. Problems for shorties

Wendy....you reminded me of our short legs! Makes sense now....the reason I can never catch those long legged runners!!! They take longer strides than me...x( just NOT FAIR....Carole

My son has been taller than me for almost 6 months now(he's 13)....and my daughter is not far behind(she's 11). Of course catching up to me is not hard....I am another 4foot 11.5 incher....now if I could be as buff as Sarah I would be thrilled!! Petite clothes are the biggest joke most of the time. I can never find petites in anything I like that is not a size 14 or more!!!! But the good new is that I really like being tiny and cute....even though I still sometimes wish far tall and willowy.....just call me Munchkin...all my best buddies do...

I agree with all the clothing issues.

Gosh, was about driving a car. I have to scoot up the seat so that I can reach the gas and brakes pedals, and then it looks like I'm almost eating the steering wheel.

I don't have enough height to pull the rope to start the lawn mower and that's even with jumping up when I'm pulling.

I have to step on the bottom shelf at the supermarket to get something off the top shelf. Then, I pray that it doesn't all come tumbling down on me.

P.S. I don't consider 5'3 or 5'4 petite. To me that's the height I always wanted to be if I could grow some more.:)

LOL Carole- I climb on the counters too! The stool just gets in my way.
*Toasty- the good arms in part are from always hoisting out bodies up on those kitchen counters!

*MY kids all passed me in height by age 12.

*Being pregnant and short meant that the baby never really dropped! And the only way to grow was OUT!

*The arm length and crotch is all wrong in clothes too! (the low rise pants helped some though)

* Looking your son in the eye and looking UP at him while disciplinning him....

I can't reach the bars to hold onto in the subways. What the heck were they thinking when they designed those things?

I can't fly coach unless I bring a footrest.

I was on a train the other day that had a footrest, and my legs didn't reach the footrest!
