& pre-ordered. My move the last 2 weeks, during which it was extremely difficult for me to get to the gym, convinced me. These'll be handy to have for when I have weeks that are over-scheduled.

<sigh> I'm sure whatever I saved will be eaten up by the new equipment I'll need! x(

Oh, I also got B&G. Never bought it so I figured WTH.

And you'll love B&G. I know you like your heavy weight work (I still remember those 270 lb leg presses on the last RT!), but this one will hit you in a different way. Go ahead and try the leg blast premix first }(

Hey, I preordered too!!! And I hadn't planned on it. But darn, that description of the kickbox workout really did me in.

Come on Debbie. Resistance is futile.
 
I haven't preordered yet either. I was getting weaker & weaker & was nearly ready to place my order... until I experienced these recent injuries & setbacks... & now, well... I'm just getting weaker & weaker :p since I can't even do the workouts I have! x(
 
Good lord, if I keep this up I might end up cancelling my gym membership!

Nah, not really. Don't worry Debbie, I only have one foot in the dark side. ;-)

So I have the cheapy WalMart barbell w/the 4 10 lb plates & 2 5 lb plates. Do I need anything else for B&G? I'll probably have it tomorrow (one of many advantages to living in NJ), I might just sub it for my leg routine at the gym next week..........
 
Just to let you know, Mama Deb has been off-line for a couple of days. I'm sure she'll be happy to see this thread as soon as she has time to join in on the fun. :)

Laura - the only other thing you need is a set of 5 lb dumbells and ankle weights but you don't HAVE to have the ankle weights.

I did B&G tonight. I think Cathe is trying to kill me. Or at least make my glutes explode. I was weeping. When it was done, I just lay there on the floor for a while.

You just know us all to well woman! :p Now I'm getting excited for B&G--how long is the leg blast premix? Is it tough enough to sub for my leg routine next week? Maybe I'll do it on my dinner hour one night before I have to come back to the office..........will I BE ABLE to come back to the office? }(
 
I think the Leg Blast premix is 48 minutes? I know it's just under 50 minutes. It's a goodie, you do a LOT of walking lunges, every time you think you're done you have to do another set!! :p You'll be able to make it to the office, but the next day the DOMS will get ya!! }(
